Lilian's POV

/"please forgive me. I didn't have any choice./" I said as I fell to my knees and started crying.

/"I wanted to protect my sister and keep her from getting hurt but I ended up hurting you guys instead./" I whispered as I wiped my tears.

/"It was all Rosa's fault. She forced me but then again, I was the one who gave up so easily. I'm sorry. Can we start over. I want to be better with our kids./" I said as I looked up at them but their eyes held nothing but hatred.

No remorse in them which made my heart hurt more.

Romeo squatted in front of me and chuckled. /"Start over? There's no way we can start over. Lilian. You chose your path and now I've chosen mine. Once you made that decision to leave, that was the end of us. Now it's time for you to watch us leave./" he said and stood up then walked away without looking back.
