"Hello, can we talk to you for a second" asked a woman who looked like she was in her twenties, and beside her was a boy, who was probably her son.

"Sure miss, but please make it quick since I have to be somewhere," said y/n to the woman, who smiled happily that y/n called her miss.

"Well you see my son here just got his first Pokémon a week ago, and it looks like you will go into the forest to Pewter City, and was wondering if he could join you," said the woman hoping that this one would agree.

Y/n looked at the woman and then at the boy, who cringed when she suddenly looked at him.

"Do you want to go to Pewter City?" Asked y/n the boy

"Yes, I want to go. Since I want to know what to expect when I grow older" said the boy

"Okey, what do you want to become when you are older" asked y/n since it sounded like he wanted to catch Pokémon and become a Pokémon trainer or a gym leader.

"I want to become a Pokémon breeder. Where I will for the most part study Pokémon behavior" said the boy happily.

(Should I take this kid with me or not? He wants to become a breeder that specializes in Pokémon behavior and that can become useful for me when I take these new Pokémon in. Still, it might be too of a sensitive topic for a kid of his age since he only looks like he is 10-12 years old, but the pros outweigh the cons) thought y/n.

"Sure you can come with me, but I first need to know your name and what type of Pokémon you have" said y/n

"My name is Rickey and I have a Pidgey"

"Nice to meet you Rickey, I am y/n and this is my partner Felis who is a meowth," said y/n, since getting him on her side would help her in the long run, also when knowing how to make the environment look as close to their homeland as possible.

"Thank you so much y/n! I have tried many others but they always said no saying that it would be weird if they went with them" said the woman glad.

"If I may ask how many have you asked?" Asked y/n, since she does not know any of the kids from this town.

"About 5 or more," said the woman.

(If one of them needs a Pokémon breeder who is a specialist in behavior, then it is their own mistake since I am taking him under my wing before anyone else) thought y/n.

"I have all the things I need so we can go right now if you want," said y/n

"But it looks like you have nothing on you that carries any sort of equipment to camp at night times," said Rickey

"It will take two or three days to get there and besides I don't get easily cold," said y/n "So can we go?"

"Alright, see you later Mom," said Rickey with a smile

"Take care and make sure to call me when you make it to the Pokémon center," said the woman

"I will," said Rickey before walking up to y/n

"Well there has always been a rule in my family, that only when you have to battle someone or when you are in danger, that you should let them out of their Pokeball" answered Rickey

"But how would you bond with it? Since there are some Pokémon that don't like fighting and some that do. You can also bond with them by having them walk with you or brushing them, feeding them, and playing with them, and you want to become a breeder, so you should know the basics" said y/n

"I never knew, I just followed what everyone else did since it looked like they were on good terms with their Pokémon, so I just did the same," said Rickey

"Why don't you let them out so they can have some fresh air?" Asked y/n

"Alright, but you can expect them to try and attack you since I only let them out when I am attacked" answered Rickey

"That is fine, Felis you know scratch right?" Asked y/n to Felis

"Meow maw," said Felis •of course I know scratch•

"Good to know," said y/n

Rickey just looked at them in confusion, about what he just heard.

"Why do you look so confused Rickey," asked y/n

"Did you just talk Pokémon language or something?" asked Rickey

"No? What are you saying?" Asked y/n confused

"Well when you asked meo- Felis something you replied 'Meow, maw' so can you talk to Pokémon," said Rickey

"I can talk to them but I did not know, that I was using their language since for me it is the same as talking to you" answered y/n

"I see, so when I let out my Pokémon, you can just talk to him and he would be less hostile," said Rickey

(He be too surprised that someone can understand him, then it is a one-way thing) thought y/n

"Alright, pidgey come out," said Rickey, as he threw a Pokeball up in the air the Pokeball opened and a pidgey came out of the Pokeball.

The pidgey looked around and saw y/n and immediately used gust at them.

"Damm, gust of all things," said y/n to herself in a low tone

"Alright Felis use scratch on the pidgey," said y/n

As Felis's claws shine a white glow. She jumps up at the pidgey and manger to scratch its wing, but the pidgey tackles right after Felis manger to scratch it, and Felix falls to the ground.

"Felis can you still keep going?" Asked y/n

"Meow maw," said Felis •I could do this all day long•

"All day long, for 24 hours?" Asked y/n, Felis

"Maw, meow," said Felis •not that long, just until the sun goes down•

"Fair," said y/n

"Pidg pidgey pi?" asked the male pidgey confused •how can you understand her completely?

"Don't know but I know how to use aura and I think that helps me understand Pokémon, or just an ability, I have" answered y/n
