The Golden Staircase

Shiro looked at the hut. It looked way different from other huts.

When Shiro had arrived in the village earlier, he had seen the sad faces of many and their almost broken huts.

Even now, if he glanced from one side to the other, he would only find dozens of almost wrecked huts. But the one in front of him, Hans' hut, looked way better than any of theirs.

The hut in which Shiro stayed, was better than most other huts here, but it couldn't even come close to Hans' house.

If every hut here had to be compared, then Hans' would be a castle.

The door was locked. Shiro glanced at the metal lock that was hanging on the door.

Without a second glance, he just kicked the door, breaking it completely so that he could enter.

*tap tap*

As he walked inside, he found a weird scene in front of himself and knew not how to react.
