61: If killing isn't a crime

Sam's POV

"Oh, asa ka?" 'Oh, san ka?'

"Cagayan.."

When the girl passenger from behind us answered that, the bus attendant had quickly made a ticket for her. Nakamasid lang ako sa ginagawa nito kanina pa.

Kaaalis pa lamang namin sa San Diego and so far, wala pa namang nagiging aberya sa pagtakas naming ito. No armed men had appeared to stop us. That's a good sign then na makakauwi na nga kami nito ng tuluyan.

From what I had remembered, the ride through the airport will take almost four hours kaya naman tyak mga tanghali na kaming makakarating dun.

Kung natanggap lang sana ni Mason ang text ko rito, then we wouldn't have need to take this long ride just to get to the airport. Mason could've just take us from here.

"Ms. Javier.."

That interrupted my thoughts when I heard that deep voice beside me. With raised brow, I turned to him at mas lalo pang umarko ang kilay ko when I found him with his brows almost overlapping at each other habang titig na titig lang ito sa wallet nito, as if there's some puzzle he had to solve in it.

"What? What's the matter?" I asked out of curiosity.

He didn't answered right away and just frowned more, looking like he was in deep thoughts. Na para bang may bagay itong dapat na matandaan and I should never disturb him with that.

"I'm certain that I had brought a hundred thousand peso cash bills in my wallet before going in this trip... but now.."

Hearing that, I suddenly went rigid saka paubo-ubong tumingin sa labas ng bintana. Suddenly taking a great interest with the crowded view outside kahit na ang totoo, ayoko lang talagang tumingin dito ng diretso dahil tyak mabubuking ako nito!

And I'm sure I'd be dead before I could even go home.

Oh Gosh. Bakit ba kasi ganito kalinaw ng utak ng gagong 'to! Kahit yata kusing walang takas sa kanga!

"Ms. Javier?"

I grimaced when he had growled that again.

"Yes?" sagot ko rito without even looking at his way.

"May alam ka ba rito?"

"May alam sa ano??" maang-aangan kong tanong ko rito, still not looking at him while feigning innocence.

I just heard him growled more beside me. I could even feel his suspicious glare now, boring a deep hole in my head.

"Ms. Javier!"

"hmm?"

"Humarap ka nga rito.."

"And why would I? Baka ano na namang maisipan mong gawin sa'kin so no. Thanks but no thanks."

When I refused his order, his deep growl became more louder than ever.

Just hearing that, the more I don't want to even face him now. Dahil kapag hinarap ko ito and would give him a good argument, baka....

"I just feel like kissing you.... Everytime you'd give me an argument na kahit ako, hindi ko magawang sagutin, Ms. Javier..."

I swallowed hard when his words earlier replayed in my head again. Making me held ny breath again as the wild thudding in my chest came back.

There's no way I can give him that chance to kiss me again kaya mas mabuting hindi ko nalang ito patulan.

I mentally nodded at that in agreement. And with that thought, mas pinili ko na lang na humarap sa labas ng bintana and would never ever face him kahit na ano pang mangyari!

"San mo ginamit ang 50,000 bills na nasa wallet ko kahapon, babae??"

"Wala nga'kong alam dyan.."

"Alam kong ikaw 'yon, Ms. Javier..."

My eyes just rolled upward when he'd insisted that, sounding so sure with his suspicion.

"At pa'no mo naman nasabi, aber? May proof ka ba huh? Nakita mo ba'kong ginawa ko 'yon?"I defended with my back still facing him. Making his growl became more animalistic.

I could even imagine his nostrils ready to release lavas on my head now.

"Hindi nga kita nakita, Ms. Javier.." he hissed with pursed lips.

"Oh? Hindi naman pala eh... so wala nga'kong alam dyan!"

"But no one would dare to touch my wallet but just you, woman!"

Again, my eyes rolled skyward. Letting out an exasperated sigh, I leaned my back against my seat saka nagkibit ng balikat.

"Pagod ako, Mr. Del Fuero kaya pwede, ba... patulugin mo naman ako.."

"Then why don't you face me and admit it to my face now, Ms. Javier?"

"NO. No way." Agad na sagot ko saka mas lalo pang tumalikod dito.

There's no way I'd face him right now! Sa lapit ng mga upuan namin ngayon, tiyak wala akong takas rito kapag lumuwag na naman ang turnilyo nito!

"I just feel like kissing you...."

When I thought about it again, the more I decided not to ever face him. Not when I was this close from him. Baka ano na namang maisipang gawin nito.

"Harapin mo'ko, Ms. Javier!" came his low voice again, so low that it sounded threatening.

Oh... as if that would work on me.

"You can't make me..." pagmamatigas na saad ko and just sat there with a shrug without even glancing at him.

"Baka ano na namang kalokohan ang gagawin mo if I ever give you another argument that would shut you up."

"What?"

I just waved my hands at him when he had snapped that.

"Don't what, what me, Mr. del Fuero.. Hindi mo'ko mapapaharap sa'yo. Akala mo siguro nakakalimutan ko na ang sinabi mo sa'kin----"

I wasn't able to continue whatever I had to say when I was grabbed by my shoulders and made me turned to him. Surprising me with it and his sudden closeness while staring at him with wide eyes.

This bastard!

"Now, tell me kung bakit mo kinuha 'yon, Ms. Javier. Where did you use that for?"

When he growled that, pinilit ko nalang na ilayo ng kahit konti man lang ang mukha ko sa kanya and then I swallowed hard before I answered him.

"You know...I'll only answer you kapag ilalayo mo na sa'kin ng konti yang mukha mo..."

His forehead instantly creases at that.

"And why would I do that??"

My eyes instantly rolled upward at that saka ito itinulak palayo sa'kin which caused him to growl in disapproval.

"Napakainit na nga ng panahon, ninunubnob mo pa yang mukha mo sa'kin! At tungkol sa pera mo,wala na.. binigay ko na sa matandang nagligtas sa'yo sa gubat."

"WHAT??!" Gulat na asik nito, probably with his money now gone.

"Yes bastard. You heard it right. Kaya magmove on kana lang. Pera lang 'yon and you still have lots of that in your saferoom." I pointed out.

When he didn't answered and just throw me a look of distaste, I just gave him a tight smile saka sumandal na naman sa upuan ko.

Pero mga ilang sandali naman, I heard him groaned beside me.

"Remind me to never take you with me the next time na may lakad ako. Magiging pulubi ako ng di-oras nito dahil sa'yo!"

"Oh. Yes. And expect me to do that again and again kapag nasa panganib kana naman." I sarcastically replied with a roll of my eyes.

Isaksak ko pa lahat ng pera niya sa baga niya!

"Ma'am, sir.. Asa mo?" ('Ma'am, sir.. saan kayo?')

That pulled me from my frustrated thoughts nang bigla na lamang 'yong itinanong ng lalake sa harap namin. That bus attendant who were looking at us now with eager eyes.

Probably eager to hear our answers and be done with his job.

With a sigh.. I quickly put up a tight smile in my face and answered him.

"Cagayan din ho kami nitong pes--- I mean nitong kasama ko mamang bus attendant."

Agad namang tumango-tango ito and then quickly made us our tickets. Out of the corner of my eyes, I can see the bastard beside me throwing a dirty glare at me, probably naiintindihan nito kung ano sana ang gusto kong sabihin.

"Nara inyong ticket duha sa imong bana, ma'am.." ('Eto na ang ticket nyo ng asawa mo, ma'am..')

My brow arched up when the bastard beside me suddenly growled at that. Ignoring him, nakangiting tinanggap ko nalang ang mga ticket na'yon kahit na hindi ko naman naiintindihan ang sinasabi nito.

Agad namang tumango ito before he proceed to the next passengers behind us. Pagkaalis nito, I quickly leaned beside him saka bumulong rito.

"What did he just said by the way?"

"Ngingiti-ngiti ka sa kanya tapos hindi mo naman pala naiintindihan ang sinasabi niya. Just keep pretending then.."

My lips instantly thinned in line when he'd replied that with a sarcastic voice and a shake of his head..

Mababatukan ko talaga ang gagong 'to! Pwes, kung ayaw niyang sabihin... then Fine! I could do the same anyway.

With that thought, agad ko ng isinubsob sa may bintana ang mukha ko and tightly shut my eyes.

Mas mabuti pang matulog kaysa makipag-asaran sa gagong 'to...

CAMERON'S POV

I just kept glaring at the sleeping woman beside me as I kept sighing out.

Ilang oras na kaming bumabyahe pero hindi parin ito gumigising with her face snuggled against the window glass beside her.

Just hearing her loud snore, mukhang pagod na pagod nga ito.. and I know so well why. At kahit na hindi pa nito inamin kanina kung anong ginawa niya sa pera ko, I already have an idea kung saan nya ito ginamit.

"Wag kang mag-alala... sobra-sobra naman 'yong ibinigay mong tulong sa'kin kanina kaya makakabili rin ako ng bago."

There was no doubt that she had really given that to that old man na tumulong sa'min...

At kahit na naiinis ako sa kanya ngayon, 'di ko mapigilang mamangha rito.

"Oh. Yes. And expect me to do that again and again kapag nasa panganib kana naman."

I couldn't resist but smirked at those words. I didn't know she still had a soft side hidden behind her tough personality.

My gaze shifted down to her hand that was limply rested on her thigh..

That same hand who didn't even hesitated to aid me and save me from danger.

I don't know what had gotten on me but the want to hold that hand right now was just so strong.

Cautiously, I slowly took her hand from her thigh and then lightly squeezed it.

I smirked when she just kept snoring and oblivious with what was happening right now. Kung hindi sana dahil sa babaeng 'to, I would've been dead by now. If she hadn't---

Napangiwi na lang ako bigla when again, nararamdaman ko naman ang sakit na'yon sa tagiliran ko. With clenched teeth, I carefully clutched it with my hand to atleast lessen the pain.

Mukhang malala nga talaga ang naging tama ko kahapon.. And whoever done this to me must pay for this.

Nagsisimula na ngang kumilos ang mga ito now that we have the clue kung saan mismo mahahanap ang file na'yon. Now this case is getting more interesting...and dangerous..

At kahit na nakatakas man kami kanina sa mga humahabol sa'min, I couldn't just stay calm here and just ignore the possibility na may nakaambang panganib pala sa'min sa Airport.

Taking my phone from my bag, I quickly turned it on and then dialed for Mason's number.

In just three rings, he answered my call..

"Cameron! Buti naman napatawag ka na! I received Samantha's message just now kaya nag-aalala na'ko sainyo. Where were you two now?"

"Mason, okay lang kami. Ihanda mo na ang chopper dahil mga ilang sandali lang, nandyan na kami."diretsang saad ko rito, not wanted to waste time for any greetings.

"Yeah sure thing... kumusta pala ang lakad niyo?"

"Marami kaming nalaman, Mason..." I paused and then glanced down at the sleeping woman beside me. Suddenly reminded with her discovery about her real identity. Then letting out a sigh, I continued.

"Alam na namin ngayon ang posibleng lokasyon ng file at nagsisimula naring kumilos ang mga taong naghahabol nito ngayon.."

I heard him let out a curse from the other line before he answered.

"How? Sinundan ba nila kayo?"

"Hindi lang sinundan, Mason kundi pinaulanan pa ng mga bala.."

"What??!" I grimaced when I hear him shrieked that like a woman.

This idiot!

"Pwede ba, Corteza! HInaan mo naman yang boses mo!" I hissed out at him, not wanted to catch the other passenger's attention.

"Yeah, yeah... My bad.." agad na dispensa nito.

"How's Samantha, by the way? Nothing bad happened to her, right?"

I groaned when he asked that with worried voice.

"She's fine, Corteza. Perfectly fine.. Dahil ako naman ang tinamaan."

"Oh! That's a relief then!"

That made me clenched my teeth hard when the idiot had answered that, sounding like he was relieved that I was the one being shot!

"Corteza! Inaasar mo ba talaga ako??!" asik ko rito while tightly clutching my phone with me. Aching to hit him on his face.

"Woah! Woah! Calm down there, Del Fuero... Hindi naman sa gusto ko 'yong nangyari sa'yo, sinasabi ko lang na mabuti nalang that Samantha was fine. "

"And why would you be worried about her kung hindi mo naman sya kaano-ano?!" I spat at him in between with gritted teeth.

"Of course! She's my friend, del Duero kaya nag-aalala ako sa kanya. Ano bang ikinagagalit mo dyan huh? Para ka namang kung sinong asawang----Wait.."

I frowned nang bigla nalang itong tumahimik, but after a few seconds, the clenching of my teeth tightened when I heard him suddenly chuckled.

I could really murder this asshole 'pag makikita ko'to mamaya!

"Cameron, Cameron, Cameron....Don't make me laugh now, Cameron..." I couldn't stop but cursed out under my breath nang tumawa na naman ito, halatang inaasar talaga ako.

"Corteza.." I slowly warned.

"Oh, Cameron! I think I have an idea now kung bakit asar na asar ka ngayon.."

"What??" Nagtitimping saad ko. Now ready to end the call.

"Simple lang, Cameron. Nagseselos ka!.." and then with that, agad na namang tumawa ito, annoying me to hell.

"Hindi.ako.nagseselos!!" asar na asar ko ng sagot rito, now almost ready to break the poor phone lalo na't muli na naman itong tumawa..

So annoyed with his laugh, I decided to just end that call before I could even throw my phone at the head of the passenger before me.

When I heard a snore from my left, my glare was snapped to her way..

Kasalanan niya 'to...

"I wasn't planning to just hide myself from anyone, Mr. Del Fuero.... Killing myself was the right thing to do after I killed that man myself."

"Aalis ako na para bang hindi man lang kita nakilala... Aalis ako na para bang hindi man lang ako dumating sa mundong 'to. That man had killed my parents and took everything from me so leaving everything behind would be so easy for me."

When those words replayed in my head again, napakuyom na lamang ako as I stared down at her sleeping form.

Kung hindi niya lang sana sinabi ang mga salitang 'yon, I wouldn't have felt this sudden urge to protect her. Even from herself.

And if her lips weren't just as addictive as it is, then I wouldn't have always feel this weird urge to always kiss her everytime she'd uses her damn mouth to spat some good argument with me.

And if she hadn't just cried in front of me for the first time, then I wouldn't have felt this abnormal beating in my chest right now.

I think I'm going out of my mind in no time dahil lang sa babaeng 'to..

This damn woman was really a total pain in the ass!

I quickly averted my gaze from her and release her hand in an instant when she suddenly moved beside me, not wanted her to catch me staring at her.

Baka tawagin na naman akong manyak ng babaeng 'to..

Sighing, I straightened up on my seat then just checked my wound. Blood was starting to look visible in my shirt as the pain became more unbearable now.

"OH.. Cagayan, Cagayan na.. kinsay munaog diha?" ('oh, Cagayan, Cagayan na.. sinong bababa dyan?')

When I heard that announcement from that same bus attendant earlier, a relief sigh escaped me as I turned to the sleeping woman.

"Ms. Javier.. We have to move now.." I woke her up sabay yugyog sa balikat nito. Agad namang umungol ito and then her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"We're here?" she mumbled with eyes still sleepy.

"hmm."

When I answered that with a nod, my brow shot up when she suddenly got up from her seat, na para bang bigla nalang nawala ang antok nito.

"Finally we're here! Let's go." she exclaimed saka dinampot na ang bag nito sa sahig at saka nauna ng naglakad palapit sa pintuan kahit na hindi pa naman humihinto ang bus.

Shaking my head, I did the same and then followed her. The moment I came near her at the doorway, tiyempo namang huminto na ang bus right at the terminal.

"Let's go now! Mason must be waiting for us now!"

I groaned when I heard her exclaimed that with excitement saka patalon-talon pang bumaba ng bus... looking like she can't contain her excitement now that she'll get to meet Mason that ass again.

This woman! After that Bryan Ganzan, ang Cortezang 'yon na naman? Ano bang meron sa mga tarantadong lalaking 'yon para sumigla agad ang babaeng 'to just the thought of seeing them?

With bared teeth, bumaba narin ako and followed her with a glare at the back of her head.

If killing isn't a crime, then I could've just killed all of those idiots who made this woman smiled for no reason!

Growling, I just kept following her lead hanggang sa gilid ng daan to hail a cab to the airport. And when she did, agad na kaming sumakay sa likurang upuan. It didn't took us long to get to the airport.

"Mr. del Fuero, nakontak mo na ba si Mason na dadating tayo ngayon dito?" agad na tanong nito pagkababa namin sa entrance mismo ng Airport.

I just gave him a small nod saka nauna ng umalis rito and then headed to the entrance way.

I'm certain Mason was so excited as well to see her dahil---

"Mr. del-hmpp!"

Bigla nalang akong napatigil sa paglalakad when I heard that from her.. Frowning, agad ko ng nilingon ito at syang gulat ko na lang nang Makita ko na itong nagpupumiglas habang hawak-hawak na ng dalawang lalaki while the other one was clamping her mouth.

"Ms. Javier!"

With primal instinct to save her, binitawan ko na agad ang dala-dala kong bag saka patakbo ng nilapitan ang mga ito, the aching on my side suddenly forgotten.

SAM's POV

"Don't move kung ayaw mong masaktan babae!"

When I heard the man from my right barked that order, mariin ko ng kinagat ang kamay na nakatakip sa bibig ko which made him hissed in pain. And without any delays, I quickly give the other one a good headbutt na syang dahilan na mabitawan nya 'ko and made him cursed out while clutching his bloody nose.

"Putang babae ka!" anang isa pang lalaki na kinagat ko saka akmang sasampalin sana ako nito but before he could even do that, bigla nalang may humila sa kwelyo ng damit nito and then he was met by a twin blows on his face by Mr. Del Fuero.

Oh.. That's my bastard!

I was about to give him a clap of appreciation pero hindi ko na nagawa 'yon nang bigla nalang may humila sa buhok ko and then brutally dragged me from behind me habang mahigpit na hawak ang kaliwang braso ko, making me cry out in pain.

This shit! Ginalaw pa talaga ang buhok ko!

"Ms. Javier!"

I heard my name was being called pero hindi ko na pinansin 'yon and just focused on this one instead. This shit who had dared to pull my hair!

I guess I should teach this mongrel a few lessons then. On how to properly treat women.

With gritted teeth, I quickly bent down on each of my knees and then thrust my elbow backward for a killing strike to his throat.

The moment my elbow made contact on his neck, he released my hair in an instant as he staggered back on his feet.

I noticed his hand was about to fish out his hidden gun from his side pero ang tanga ko naman if I'd even allow that.

With pursed lips, I quickly raised my right leg and swung it to his head for a flying kick. In one go, he'd fell almost unconscious on the ground.

Napansin kong marami ng taong nakapansin sa'min ngayon and I even noticed guards were running to our way now. Those guards who will for sure interrupt us from beating these men..

NO one can stop me now dahil kahapon pa'ko nagtitimpi sa mga 'to!

With that thought, agad ko ng inundayan ng sipa ito sa tagiliran nito that caused him to ball out in pain. Uundayan ko na naman sana ito ng sipa sa mukha but I was stopped when a hand suddenly grabbed me in my wrist saka hinila na'ko palayo sa eksenang 'yon at papasok sa loob ng airport.

"We have to leave now! Matatagalan lang tayo kapag nakialam pa ang mga security personels dito!" Mr. del Fuero informed me habang napapangiwing hila-hila na'ko nito sa kamay.

Alarmed with his state, my gaze shifted to his side and I cursed out when I spotted blood stains on his shirt.

"You're bleeding! Kailangang matignan agad----"

"NO! I'm perfectly fine. Kailangan na nating makaalis ngayon dito! We're not safe till we came back to Metro Manila." he snapped as he kept on running through the private area where Mason was possibly waiting for us.

Alam kong hindi ito okay with him kept grimacing while tightly clutching his side. But with him having a point, pinili ko nalang na tumahimik and ran with him.

Though giving him a hard smack on his head sounds so appealing to do right now but I guess I'll just do that later kapag wala ng humahabol sa'min.

"'wag mo silang hahayaang makaalis!"

When I heard that shout from the entrance, mas binilisan pa namin ang pagtakbo, avoiding those people with their luggages kept blocking our way.

I could even hear him kept muttering a curse with his jaw just kept twitching. Obviously clenching his teeth so hard with the serious pain he had to endure right now. He was even sweating so his condition wasn't good.

Seeing him kept wincing, I can't help but cursed out our damn situation here.

Kung hindi lang sana kami inambangan ng mga pesteng taong 'to dito, then I could've done something to help him right now. And if he wasn't just injured right by now, then I could've just leave him and fight those men one-on-one dahil pagod na'kong takasan ang mga taong 'yon.

"We're close to the location of our chopper now. Bilisan mo!" He barked out habang hila-hila nya parin ako sa kamay. This time, we're heading out to the private landing area.

I'm starting to feel relieved knowing that we're close to the chopper now. We ran and ran with determined steps to that way but the moment we've got out of the exit way, I cursed out when another two armed men appeared in sight.

Oh Shit! Tyak matatagalan pa kami nito if we'd even fight them now.. masyado ng nagdurugo ang tama nito.

"Mauna ka na----"

"NO!" Agad ko ng putol sa iba pa nitong sasabihin when I know what he was about to say.

"Ayoko. Alam ko 'yang balak mong gawin, Mr. del Fuero. You want me to leave here and just let you handle these situation!"

"But---"

I pulled out my hand from his grasp and just smirked at him. Ignoring his protesting glare.

"There wouldn't be any fun if I'd just let you die here, Mr. Del Fuero. I'll cover you up." I reassured him as I pulled out the guns Under my waistband.

"What are you planning to do?" gulat na tanong nito as he glared at the weapons in each of my hand.

"Oh.. Don't be a bore, Mr. del Fuero.. Hindi pwedeng sila lang ang magsaya rito so stay behind me!" I ordered before I released a few gunshots at their way just to scare them away.

This time, nagsisimula ng magkagulo ang mga taong nandun but I didn't used my gun para antaying lapitan kami ng mga security rito kaya naman agad ko na siyang hinila patakbo papunta sa chopper nito.

"What have you done?!!"

I just rolled my eyes at him when he'd hissed that.

"A thank you must've been enough, you know... Hindi yong puro ka nalang reklamo----"before I could even finish whatever I had to say to him, napayuko na lamang kami nang may biglaang magpaputok sa'min.

"Yan na nga bang sinasabi ko eh! "

I groaned and glared at him when he'd spat that.. na para bang sinisisi pa nya'ko ngayon kaya pinaputukan na kami ng bala.

This ungrateful shit!

Heaving up a deep breath, I was about to give him an argument pero hindi ko na naituloy nang may nagsilabasan ng mga security guards mula sa exit with guns in their hands habang nakatutok ito sa mga lalaking nagpapaputok sa'min.

"Don't move!!" rinig ko pang sigaw ng isa sa mga guard na'yon when they were able to trap them.

I took that as our chance to escape from there.

"Let's go home now and shut your mouth!" then without waiting for his answer, agad ko ng hinila ito patakbo sa tingin ko daan patungo sa kung saan si Mason.

I frowned when I didn't even hear him talked beside me kaya naman agad ko ng nilingon ito at laking gulat ko nalang nang pawis na pawis na ito saka putlang-putla narin. He was breathing heavily now and I think he was ready to pass out anytime.

Oh dear!

So eto yong sinasabi nyang 'perfectly fine'! Just Wow! !

I quickly slid back my gun behind me saka inakay na ito sa tagiliran nito.

"Anong---"

"Don't you dare tell me now na okay ka lang because you're definitely not! Tayo na!" Bulyaw ko na rito saka inakay ito patakbo.

Good thing he just shut his mouth and just groaned saka tumakbo na kahit na nahihirapan na ito.

Not long, natatanaw na rin namin umaandar ng chopper just a few meter from us. Mason was already sitting at the front seats kaya naman mas minabuti kong bilisang makalapit dito. When he spotted us, dali-dali na itong bumaba and meet us halfway.

"What happened to him?" usisa agad nito pagkalapit and quickly helped me carried his friend to the chopper.

"He was shot yesterday, Mason kaya kailangan na natin syang maipagamot before he'd die here!"

Hindi na ito sumagot pa and just nodded at me saka ipinaupo na ito sa likurang upuan. Sumakay na rin ako at umupo sa tabi nito while hugging him on his side. I'm starting to feel alarmed now just seeing him almost unconscious now habang putlang-putla na ito at naliligo baron sa pawis.

Baka naimpeksyon na talaga ito ng tuluyan sa kakakilos nito.

Mason quickly get on and started to pilot the chopper, and not long, nagsimula na itong umangat sa ere. sigh.

"Tumatakas na sila!"

When I heard that, napadungaw na lang ako sa may bintana and I found those same armed men we've encountered in San isidro.

Good thing Mason was quick enough to pilot the chopper kaya naman agad na kaming nakalayo dun before those men would even shoot us.

"Samantha? Subukan mong kausapin si Cameron.. 'Wag mo syang patutulugin.."

Ginawa ko na agad ang sinabi nito.

"Mr. del Fuero?? Open your eyes now!" gising ko rito while lightly tapping his cheek. Umungol lang ito but never opened his eyes.

Oh this isn't good! Kakaligtas lang nito kahapon ang here he is, hinang-hina na naman ito ngayon. Probably with all the running we've done earlier when his wound was just too fresh para kumilos agad ito.

I was able to let out a loud relief sigh when he growled that with his usual arrogant voice.

"Oh God! I thought we've lost you!"

"As if I'd even give you that satisfaction to see me die.."

I think all my worries had suddenly jumped out of the window when he was able to joke now kahit nakapikit parin ang mga mata nito.

Talagang nagagawa pa nitong mang-asar kahit nasa bingit na ng kamatayan !

"You'd gave me a scare there del Fuero! Akala ko napano ka na.." Mason exclaimed na halatang nakahinga rin ng malalim pagkarinig sa kaibigan nito.

His bandages were now covered up with blood. His breathing was ragged habang tahimik lang ito. The ride will take up to an hour before we'll land at Manila Airport kaya naman mas minabuti ko ng agapan ang pagdurugo nito bago pa matuluyan ang gagong 'to.
