Special dinner!

My foot got a little worse as I landed out of the car. It was good that Tsubaki had woken up or I might not have been able to walk while lifting her. 

Knowing her over-caring personality, I hid my pain and walked as naturally, I could or she would have started blaming herself again.

I thanked Mafuya san after exiting the car on which she only nodded and drove away.

We entered the house nearly at half-past ten. Tsubaki was clinging to my arm with my hand engulfed in her two soft cushions. I couldn't help but feel my face heating up. It was fortunate that she didn't look at me and silently followed my lead.

 I took her directly into the bedroom, after throwing both of our bags on the couch. On 

 "Change your clothes, I am goin-". My voice broke out when she glared at me with puppy eyes. She hugged my hand buried her face in me, reluctant to let go. 

" But Tsubaki how can you change clothes like this. Come on let me go, I will be just outside the door".

"Mm.. I don't want to. You will disappear". Sighing, at her cute antics, I made a solution.

" Then I am turning around. You can change like this right?" She agreed with two "Hmm".

*Rustle*

*Sllicck* I was hearing a girl changing her clothes just some feet apart from me. If I turn right now, then I would be turned on for sure. My mind was screaming to at least take a glance at her body, but my reasoning got better of it and I endured peeking at her.

" Kazu kun. I am done". I turned and saw Tsubaki wearing only an oversized t-shirt, nothing beneath. Her smooth and sculptured thighs were on full display. As I turned, she started binding her hair in a bun, which made me subconsciously stare at her pale neck and what smoothness it behold. 

I didn't know whether she was doing it intentionally or not but for some reason her small gesture also seemed sexy to me.

*Slap*

"Eh? Kazu kun? Are you okay?"

"I am fine Tsubaki. Just was in a daze because of how beautiful at the same time seductive you can be". I blurted my inner thoughts without restraining again, which made her embarrassed.

" Ah. B-but I didn't have my makeup and I-" She started fidgeting again.

"Please refrain from watching me and turn around". She nodded and turned around with a twirl.

I took out a jogger and also an oversized shirt. After changing I looked toward Tsubaki and got froze...

She was watching me all the time through the mirror in front of her, but the most striking thing was that she had her phone in hand.

Upon noticing that I had noticed her, she immediately threw her phone on the bed and closed her eyes.

" Are you done Kazu kun?" She asked in a meek voice.

"Don't screw with me. I saw that". I glared at her as she slightly opened her eyes and in a sweet tone whispered..'Sorry'.

" Don't do it again". She nodded vigorously.

After some minutes, we settled on the bed. Since we both didn't have eaten since morning, both our stomachs were howling.

"You here, I will make something". I said and with her look, it didn't seem that she was going to agree so easily.

" No you rest. I will make something quick and easy". Looking at her finger I knew it will be painful for her to cook anything.

"No. Today I will show my special recipe. So sit back and relax".

" But I-" I cut her words abruptly.

"If you move from this room then I won't sleep with you while hugging".

*Slide*

*Dab*. She slid and covered herself in a blanket so swiftly that for some instance I thought that she left after image behind her.

" Good girl". I patted her head and got out.

Reaching the kitchen, I started browsing.

'Chicken, eggs, veggies, and yeah I can make it'. I got all the necessary things needed to make the only dish I knew about.

I switched on the rice cooker after putting the washed rice in it. Meanwhile, I chopped onions, boneless chicken, and other vegetables, I put the frying pan on flame.

After adding olive oil I threw the nicely diced onion which I barely managed to chop evenly, in the pan. After dicing the chicken I poured it in with the onion and started to sautè them.

*Ping* Receiving a mail I stopped my hand and checked it.

Tsubaki: [I miss you.]

I smiled before replying.

Me: [Just some more minutes.]

However, just I was about to put my phone away, a face time notification popped up. 

'This girl...' I lowered the flames so they won't get burnt and dashed toward the bedroom. I saw her eyes focused on her phone as she peeked out of the blanket.

"Here take this. My camera will show you nothing but a blurry ghost" I snatched her phone and gave her mine. She was startled, like a child caught in the act, but her hand didn't reject my offer.

I ran back to the kitchen and after putting her phone on the slab, at an angle where most of the kitchen was visible, I continued my cooking.

Adding the vegetables and seasoning I gave them a nice fry before adding the rice. While they were getting cooked, I prepared the egg mixture for an omelette.

After spreading the egg in the pan like a sheet, I added half of the filling on one side of the omelette. Rolling it over, cautiously I served it on a plate. Making another, omelet I repeated the process and in half-hour, my two perfect omurice were prepared.

"Come out princess. Dinner is ready". I called through the ongoing call and disconnected it. Within some second a happy Tsubaki flew toward the dining table and took the seat.

I placed the omurice in front of her and another plate beside it, where I was going to sit.

" Want ketchup?" She shook her head and since I also didn't like anything over my omurice, I dropped the ketchup back in the refrigerator, before walking toward the table.

"Let me take my spoon". She noticed that there was only one spoon so she stood up to take another one, however, I held her hand.

" Sit back.  I will feed you". Her every finger was in bad condition because of me, so at least this much I could do for her.

Her eyes went wide before she fell back on the chair. She was ominously gawking at me like I said something unbelievable.

The way she reacts to such small things always looks amusing and cute. I would never get bored seeing her antics, like these.

I sliced the omelette and took some portion of rice before lifting the spoon toward her mouth.

"Say aah". I said as she momentarily opened her mouth while still staring at me.

" Oi. Chew it at least". On my remark, she came back to her senses and starts eating the food.

"I am sorry, I was dazed that I didn't get the taste". I sighed and picked another spoonful of it.

This time she chewed and gulped as I also took my first bite.

" It's delicious. I think it's better than I can ever make ". I felt her compliment was genuine.

We ate the dinner in peaceful silence until the point where a large drop of tears started pouring down her eyes. I was about to get up with dishes in hand when I got startled upon seeing her. I sat back abruptly beside her before asking.

" Hey. Hey..hey...what happened". I asked as I held her hand carefully, not to hurt her fingers.

"I am so..so happy that I cou*sniff* couldn't hold it in. To...today I thought we won't be able to get back together ever..ever again. I am so happy...thank you Kazu kun". I warmly smiled at her as I wiped her tears with my sleeve gently.

" But look we are together again. And on the positive side of the event that happens today, our relationship has become more stronger and trustable, isn't it?" She nodded in my embrace, without hesitation.

I pressed her head on my chest and said in a whispering tone.

"Don't worry Tsubaki. Today I have come to realize how much we both need each other. And I will do my best to maintain this necessity, until the very end."
