Holding all desires

"Zee, are you asleep?" Daniel asked with narrowed eyes.

"Hmm, what's wrong uncle?" Dhenisa asked a little hard to open her eyes.

"Do I still have to fast Zee?" Asked Daniel with an innocent face.

Dhenisa was silent then tilted her body to face Daniel.

"Why is it Uncle?" Dhenisa asked looking at Daniel's face full.

"We've been married a week, I can't feel the beauty of the first night." Daniel said with a small laugh.

Dhenisa smiled and grabbed Daniel's back and hugged him affectionately.

"Patience, uncle, after our child is born then my postpartum period is over and then we do our first delayed night." Dhenisa said imagining how Daniel lived day after day until that time came.

"How many more days do I have to wait for Zee? Ten more days or a month?" Asked Daniel burying his head in Dhenisa's chest.

"More than a month uncle, could be five to six months." Dhenisa replied with a look of pity.
