A Date With Tomoe (Morning)

I pick up Tomoe at her house to go on a date. How it happened, you ask? Well, after I gave the coupon yesterday when we were having dinner at her home to compensate for the birthday that I missed, she called me right before I went to sleep. When we were on the phone, she said that she wanted to use the coupon tomorrow which is today, and I asked her what she wanted to use it for. Here we are, then.

The door opens and she walks through it in a beautiful dress, a small handbag, and shoes. If anyone sees this, they'll assume that she's around her 20s because she looks young and doesn't show any sign that she's older than that. She looks so stunning and gorgeous in that dress and any man will fall over the head just by looking at her.

"Woooww... you left me speechless, Tomoe-san. You always look beautiful but today, you're extra beautiful!" I sound cringe.

"Hehe, really~? It got me an hour to dress up, you know. Thank you! Because you're being so nice to me, I reward you and that is- *Smooch!*" She kisses me on my cheek. Now, I'm getting red. For your information, this is not the first time I got kissed on the cheek. I was a chick magnet back then before I left college and the group. At that time, I always slept with many women I want without even caring about time and of course, I got many types of kisses, on the cheeks, lips, neck, and you know where else. But that was long ago, now, I've left all that behind, and after getting a kiss again, especially from her, my heart is melting.

"You okay, Kai? I almost forgot you look handsome, too! Now, where are we going?" She asks. Thank you for the compliment, I get that a lot. It feels different when someone you cared for says that, you know. It gives you a whole other feeling like you suddenly become confident with your life, it's like you can do anything and no one can stop you. That's what I feel.

Anyway, we're going to the mall because there are a lot of things we can do there besides shopping. Apparently, they held some kind of event where they opened up a lot of funfair-like games on the highest floor because other floors are for other things like food, fashion, gadgets, etc. We're going to spend half a day there before going somewhere else where I've planned before the end of the day. I hope she'll like it.

I order a taxi to send us to the mall since I don't want to make her sweat and ruin her dress just because we're walking. The taxi arrives and we get into it on the passenger's seat. Then, the driver drives the car until we arrive at the destination which takes us around 20 minutes. We get out of the car and enter the mall.

This mall is different than when Becca and I went. It's huge with five floors with their own category. The entertainment is on the fifth floor which is also the highest floor. When we're in the building, it's full of food and beverages stall as the first floor is dedicated to food and beverages only but at the center of it is where new cars launch shown and people can go there and see the car themselves. But, that's not where our objective is.

We take the elevator to the fifth floor. While we're in the elevator, she asks me, "Kai-kun, can we go to the clothes store after we're done here? Or do you have other plans?" Well, according to my plan, I want us to have lunch at one of the food stalls on the first floor but I'm not in hurry, so I think we can go there before having lunch. We still have time ahead of us and a bit of a change of plans won't harm anybody. I say to her that we can go there and her face lights up with a happy smile.

We arrive, get out of the elevator, and walk to the place where the event is held or where the registration counter is placed to register our names since the entire floor is for entertainment. On the way to the counter, We see a lot of games for all ages like a playground for kids and video games place for adults. There are also a lot of other things elsewhere like bowling, archery, throwing axe, etc.

We arrive at the counter and register our names. Apparently, they're a few packages people can choose from. For example, Solo Package which means it's for single people without family or partner who wants to enjoy the festival by themselves. Moreover, Couple Package, this package is only for couples whether they're married or not and want to enjoy each other company on a date. Last but not least, Family Package, its name already suggests what it's for. Of course, the different package has different price, and the more people, the more expensive it gets.

We choose a Couple Package and pay for it. Then, the counter-keeper straps a bracelet on our wrists and hands over a flyer that has a list of games we can play for a package we've chosen. I take it and we go somewhere else where we can read it thoroughly and choose what game we want to play first. There are quite a lot that we can choose from as a couple but Tomoe wants to play bowling first, so I just agree with her as I don't know what to do.

... ...We've gone to many games and I've seen many things that I never expect I would. When we were playing bowling, for some reason, I lost and she wins with an almost perfect score. Almost all rounds she got a strike yet I just got one strike only. I don't know if I was that bad at bowling or if she was too good.

After that, we went to the archery where we can shoot arrows at a target. This game is a bit dangerous, they installed a net around it to prevent from the arrows hitting innocent people. She doesn't know how to use a bow, so she leaves it to me as I know how to shoot arrows. There were five rounds and my objective was to get the highest mark, if I manage to get one, I can get a first prize which I don't know what that is. Anyway, I got bullseyes in every round which leave people shocked and Tomoe just cheers me and sounds happy for me.

The host said that he'll give the gift at the end of the day as there are a possibility that other people can surpass me. I don't believe him but I also don't care, so I just agree with him. After that, we went to a place where you can throw an axe at the target. The target is not as far as the archery one. We were given six axes and we split them into three axes for each of us.

She starts first. Well, she never throws an axe before, so the result is predictable but she manages to get one stuck. I guess... good for her. Then, my turn but throwing an axe is not in my field of weapon as I never learn it when I was in the group. So, I was pretty much the same as her. Luckily, nothing bad happens there. We were having so much fun that at one point, we want to try every game that this place offered.

Last but not least, we're currently at the video games hub where you can play any game on any platform like PC, PS5, XBOX, and Nintendo. Not just that, this place also has fridges where snacks and beverages are stored and people are free to take them. Other than that, the interior design is matched with the video games theme with RGB light, soft carpets, couches, and sofas. The cherry on top, this place has air conditioners. This is a gamers' paradise.

I invite her to play a game with me but she looks hesitant and when I ask why, she says that she never play video games before. It's not weird though if she never plays one. Anyway, I tell her it's okay and I'll teach her everything she needs to know. We spend an hour there before we finally leave as we're planning to play another game. I still want to play video games though...

On our way to the next game, we bump into a person I never expect I'll meet here. "Eh, Jake? What're you doing here?" I ask. Jake is here, alone, wearing a hoodie and a jean. Also a sunglass for some reason.

"Yo buddy! *Hugs* What a coincidence! *Looks at Tomoe* Ooh, who's this lovely lady? You've got yourself a gorgeous lady, I see." He's teasing me.

"Oh my, Thank you~ I'm Tomoe. We're on a date!" She thanks him for the compliment.

"Yeah, she's my date. Jake, you're still not answering my question. What're you doing here?" I ask again.

"No one knows about this though but I'm... the biggest shareholder of the company who owns this mall."
