***ADDIE'S POV***
I spent most of my time with Sassy over the next couple of days. Even when I was meeting with the people in their town, she was right there with me. Me, her, and Nolan heard what the people had to say, and what they wanted. These people wanted for little. After already having their lives improved by their leader, they were pretty content.
"At most, some more funding from the capital. That might be all. The farmers are not making a lot all the way out here."
"I will talk to King Holmes about it. In Athea, we've implemented a program where the farmers are given a salary to help support them. Perhaps we can do the same here." The humans seemed delighted by that statement and were happy I would be advocating on their behalf.
