***ADDIE'S POV***
"Queen Juliana? Princess Addie?" There was a thunderous pounding on the door that led to the chamber as Simon, the steward for the royal wing, called to us frantically. "Please, there's been an incident."
"Oh no!" Juliana said upon hearing those words. I just collapsed, and had to be caught by Ginger and Violet, before I hit the ground.
"What could have happened?" Violet asked as she helped me to a chair.
"Simon, what is it?" Juliana asked, as she whipped the door open, facing the frantic man, who had stayed at the house with Callum and Nolan the night before.
"An accident, my queen. The carriage carrying the men flipped over when a herd of wild animals raced into the city. It was the oddest thing, my queen. No one saw them coming. One moment, the guards were permitting a visitor into the building, and the next, the animals raced in through the open gates."
