The dinner was a silent one. Since both my father and I had a policy of not speaking while we eat, the whole dining table was completely quiet except for the sound of the cutleries clanging against the plates. Leo wanted to speak, but at the end did not want to disturb the peaceful atmosphere, so he simply stared at me in a reluctant manner, acting like he had a lot of things to say, but at the end didn't say anything.
Of course, I had noticed Leo's gaze long ago, but I did not want him to disturb this atmosphere either, so I simply ignored him. Father was busy eating the food and contemplating about something, so he did not notice the silent interaction between the two of us as he ate. Someone finally managed to speak after all of us were finished eating. To nobody's surprise, it was Leo who first spoke, "So are you sleeping here tonight as well, Hunter?"
