Yanna went back to work and met Melody at the dressing room alone.

Melody wanted to tease Yanna as soon as she saw her, but when she got close, she smelled peach pheromones surrounding Yanna. She took a distance from Yanna with disgust and immediately locked the door.

Yanna was puzzled by Melody's series of actions and asked her directly, which met with obvious dislike from Melody upon hearing her question.

"Are you playing fool or what? You have been marked by Omega, and you are surrounded by the scent of peaches right now. Me, as an Omega, what do you expect my reaction would be?"

Yanna was in disbelief; she didn't know anything about it. Then she felt shy; she at least knew what marking means in this world, just like Omega. An Alpha who has been marked will be dependent and can only have one Omega in her entire life, though it's still possible to remove the mark, but you will need to pay a high price and endure the pain. And it's rare to have Alpha be marked by Omega so it may look weird for others.

"Ahem... sorry," Yanna apologized awkwardly and sprayed herself with blocking agents to hide the smell of pheromones on her body.

"So, is she still there?" Melody asked when she was already sure that there were no pheromones around Yanna anymore.

"Yes, actually I have something important to tell you," Yanna said, biting her lips, trying to calm herself as she felt excited just thinking about her marriage with Vanessa. Then Yanna blushed.

Melody looked at her blankly and said, "I know you're in a relationship, but do you really need to rub it in my face?"

Yanna quickly waved her hand to deny, "I haven't said anything yet. Besides.. it's not like you really have no one around you."

Yanna said, but it became weaker on the latter but still managed to be heard by Melody.

"Don't talk nonsense, so what's that important thing you wanted to tell me?" Melody asked, crossing her arms on her chest.

Yanna felt intimidated by Melody's posture; she slightly lowered her head and became nervous like a child being questioned by her mother.

"Well, you know I have a girlfriend, right?"

Melody nodded, then Yanna continued, "Me and her got marriage certificates... just this morning."

"..I understand.. You know that if someone discovered your secret marriage, it may not do good to both of you right now, right?"

Melody didn't get shocked by Yanna's revelation, as it's common in the entertainment industry. However, right now, Yanna is just at the starting point. If people find out, they might accuse Yanna of using Vanessa as a springboard for her career, and what happened before might repeat itself again.

"We are both aware, so I only told you because I trust you, and besides, I don't want to keep it a secret from you."

"You know, but you still did it?" Melody frowned as she didn't understand Yanna and Vanessa's thinking.

"We both marked each other, and I want to take responsibility. Besides, we love each other," Yanna explained with a smile.

"I know, but will it be fine?" Melody asked with some worries.

"Don't worry, after this project, we will start to move. We will use those people to push me up and might as well teach them how to properly make someone's career ruined, after that it will only take a few years to stand in the spotlight. It won't take long."

Melody took a deep breath; although she's not that sure, she felt better. She will do her best to help Yanna be on top as a friend and manager.

Melody finally smiled, "Alright, I believe in you. I'll do my best to help you."

"Thank you, Melody."

"Go get ready."

Yanna poured her heart and soul into her debut movie project, "Everything Just For You." Her dedication paid off, and within a few months, the production wrapped up, leaving everyone excited for the upcoming release.

On the other side, Set, who had been ignorant of Yanna's project, stumbled upon a teaser for "Everything Just For You." To his surprise and frustration, Yanna was featured on it, getting the spotlight and praises of people. His previous moves didn't affect Yanna's rising popularity at all, and only a few people believed those scandals he thought would work again like before, but unexpectedly, nothing happened.

Set's jealousy and initial anger intensified when he realized that Yanna's acting skills had remarkably improved. He read a few comments and saw some people mentioning him, comparing him to Yanna; this only made him feel threatened and insecure.

Unable to contain his emotion, Set vented his frustrations to his manager. He shouted at him, cursed him, and found faults in everything until he threw a wine glass and accidentally hit the manager's arm. But Set didn't care even when he saw it; he calmed down a little and started to think.

He instructed his manager to set up a meeting with that stinky man and started to make a plan on how to ruin Yanna again. Little did Set know, his manager had been secretly recording every abusive encounter and demand Set had made, saving a lot of collection of evidence.
