"Ding! Ding! Ding! You won a Job!" When I first heard those words, I never thought my life would turn around so drastically. From an orphan looking for a way out to becoming the manager of a hotel filled with cute monster girls! How it happened so fast? I had no clue, but I can't say no to living with such beauties! Who knows, maybe with time as I help them get comfortable in the human world, they'll become my family, and I can even help them expand their genes further! But before any of that, I must face my past, and help them do the same. Then perhaps when I'm on my path to help them get revenge on the humans who've tortured their homeland, I can enjoy a life surrounded by my numerous lovers, wives, and the family we'll create together. A Tense Dinner

The night had slipped into its deepest hours and all guests had taken to their beds. Somehow, we managed to get through the day despite the newcomers making numerous mistakes. The worst of it all was Maiden killing off all the wolves in the forest–something Rin was infuriated over as they were still acting as her familiars.

For once, I'd seen her tear up for someone and all things it was those animals. Her rage was palpable even as we sat across the dining table, but given the fact that the wither was responsible for their deaths, even she wouldn't dare rebel against her decisions.

"This smell's divine…" With a blood-curdling smile on her lips, Maiden turned her stony eyes to look at Maiko. "And I thought burnt charr was all you mortal ate thanks to Emina's cooking."

"Uhmm, thanks?" Unsure how to feel about being complimented by a wither, Maiko shifted her attention to me.
