After a flurry of activity, Wenjay finally managed to send Rommel downstairs to play with Patton. Montgomery seemed a bit upset. He went to Mingyoo and chattered away, complaining about what had happened. When he realized that Mingyoo wasn't going to reprimand Wenjay, Montgomery huffed off to sulk on the bed.
Wenjay tidied up the scattered clothes on the floor and organized the files and documents, making space for himself. Mingyoo tossed him a cushion, asking, "How's the old man feeling?"
"He's okay. The old lady looks a bit worn out, but the old man is still holding up strong."
"And the kid?"
"He's too young. Some things might not have registered with him yet," Wenjay replied. "Researcher Han probably didn't spend much time with him to begin with. The kid's gotten used to not seeing his father for extended periods."
"Did you notice anything unusual about Rai Qi?" Mingyoo inquired.
