Bloodline

"Alright that is enough" a voice suddenly resounded.

The seal on the dungeongate glowed more brighter, causing whatever was within to let out miserable shrieks.

"That.. was close!" Aiden was currently panting, tiredly sprawled on the ground while sweating profusely.

His body felt too weak to move and the feeling was worst than when he was a sickler.

"Not bad. To be able to survive that dragon's assault. tsk, tsk. Not bad" once again, Aiden heard that voice that saved him speak again.

A six years old looking boy donned in an armor and cape materialized, floating above him.

"Who are you?" Aiden groaned.

"I am the A.I of the system" the armor clad boy replied smugly.

Aiden's brows twitch. A.I? when did an A.I attain physical form.

"Just now you mentioned dragon. Is a dragon sealed in that dungeon?" Aiden was curious.

In his original alternate reality, Dragons were just mythical creatures.

"Yup. But not just any Dragon. It's the strongest of them all. The progenitor of all Supreme Divine Totem dragon'

"A chaos dragon. It is the undisputated leader of the Supreme Divine Totem beasts Parthenon"

"A chaos dragon" Aiden mouth felt sour. What a domineering name.

"Yeah. Going by the name Izreel. He is a Primal chaos dragon. It is literally the embodiment of primal chaos. Unly those powerhouses who wield primal Genesis force can go toe to toe with Izreel. But my master did! and even suceeded in capturing it!" the A.I proudly showed off his master.

"Your master should be quite formiddable" Aiden had a look of veneration in his eyer.

Primal Chaos? genesis force? he had no idea what these meant. But by judging Izreels outburst of pressure, his strength was definately at the peak level in this world.

Aiden't couldn't help but start yearning for this sort of power.

"Formiddable? hah! Don't make me laugh" Izreel snickered from within the dungeon.

"The only reason i got captured was due to a suicide attack from him. And that's after we've traded blows for an extremely long time.

Izreel's tone dripped with arrogance.

"Anyways, before Master perished, be modeled an inheritance for his successor. The system is master's inheritance" the A.I said, staring at Aiden with a weird gaze.

"The system is an inheritance?" Aiden was puzzled.

What's so special about the system anyways?

"Master was the only Supreme Magus of our reality. In all realities, there are just seven Supreme Magus existences. And the system was meticulously fashioned by master after sacrificing much. Expecially when he tried sealing Izreel. He lost his life in the process" the A.I spoke in an agitated tone.

"Hmrf. Serves him right" Izreel snorted.

"So boy, never you look down on the system" the A.I warnt sternly.

Aiden scratched his nose akwardly. Although he was in a new body, he seemed to be fifteen or sixteen years old.

How could this six years old kid have the cheeks to call him boy?

"Prep time is over. Let's move one to the main business" the A.I became serious.

A dagger with various runic symbols on it's blade materialized in his grip.

"Take, slit your palm with it" the A.I handed the dagger to Aiden who took it, inspecting it closely.

What an unremarkable dagger. How could it penetrate his tough skin.

Just as he casually sliced his palm, his 'tough skin' which he took pride in burst apart, revealing blood that gushed out in a steady stream.

Aiden was shocked. How could that dagger be so sharp?

The A.I smiled at Aiden's behaviour.

"Walk over and place your hand on the seal tag on the dungeon gate"

Aiden nodded, making his way over.

"Brat! if you don't want to die, then take a step back and free me!" Izreel roared.

Aiden sneered. Free you? keep on dreaming. With the A.I supporting him, why would he fear a leashed dog?

Aiden arrived at the dungeon gate and swiftly slammed his blood soaked palm on the sealing tag.

ZING!

The seals on the tag began to glow with a golden sheen. Aiden felt a powerful force sucking away his blood. But he didn't try resisting.

"Aargh! stop itt! stop! Stop!! arrrgh!!" Izreel shrieked, seeming to be in extreme pains.

Too bad nobody answered him. Just at that moment, Aiden saw a starry dust like mist emerging from the dungeon, soaring towards him.

The starry mist went into his chest, causing Aiden to release his own cries of pain. He dropped on one kneel, with one of his palm still glued to the sealing tag, while the other clutched to his chest.

He felt like his heart was slowly being ripped apart. The A.I just watched coldly from the sidelines.

For a time, the whole area was filled with miserable shrieks and painful cries. It was like purgatory!

Then everything stopped. The starry mist stopped pouring out. Izreel stopped screaming, so did Aiden.

An heart paltipating silence ensued.

Just then, Aiden slumped, loosing consciousness of himself.

"I can't let him waste this opportunity. The VR AWAKENING Hall is super rare" the A.I mumbled.

He pointed his index finger at Aiden, causing a white pellet to shoot out.

When the pellet struck Aiden's forehead, his eyes snapped open.

"Ugh" Aiden groaned, clasping to his chest.

Somehow, he found it difficult to breathe properly.

"Congratulations for obtaining the Primal chaos dragon bloodline" the A.I clapped his hands.

"You just refined Izreel into your bloodline, thus you can now make use of primal chaos force" the A.I explained, but Aiden just gave him a 'i don't get what you're saying' look.

"You are really ignorant huh? forget it" the A.I shook his head.

"All i can say is that you can explode with tremendous strength, but there is a catch. It feeds off your emotion. An equilibrum must be obtained. If that equilibrum is broken, then gradually Izreel feeds off your essence until your existence gets snuffed out"

"C'mon, speak in a language i can understand" Aiden whined.

"In simple sense, Izreel becomes you, and you become nothing"

"Got it" Aiden wasn't bothered.

Depend on powerful bloodline? nah.

He was done being dependent.

"Alright. Let's move on to the next phase. I hope we meet again real soon, boy" the A.I waved his hand, causing the environment around Aiden to spin and warp.

After a few seconds, everywhere became stabilized. But now, Aiden was in a large hall.

He was directly facing an alter, with a transparent orb placed on it.

-[PING! VR AWAKENING SESSION HAS COMMENCED]

-[YOU HAVE A NEW EMERGENCY QUEST!]

-[NEW EMERGENCY QUEST; SUCEED IN YOUR AWAKENING]

When Aiden saw these notifications, he instantly understood.

That orb would most likely be the awakening orb. Too much of watching chinese animes sure has their merits!

Aiden walked over and placed his hand on the awakening orb. At that moment, he felt a strand of his consciousness being transported somewhere.

He found himself hovering in the mass expanse of space. Ahed of him were more than a hundred stars. Some were huge, others were small.

"Eternity begets primal chaos"

"Primal chaos begets Order"

"Order begets all!"

A voice boomed as all the stars exploded.

Meanwhile, at the Hall..

Aiden had his eyes closed as he held onto the awakening orb.

Silence.

Suddenly, the awakening orb began to make squirming noises.

Whooop!

The awakening orb burst into flames.

Aiden opened his eyes, which contained a hint of joy in them.

Fire! he awakened the concept of inferno in one go!

But that was not all though. The awakening orb began to release a whirpool that seemed like it could shred anything into pieces.

Fuck! Aiden almost had the urge to faint. Awakening two principles in one go?!

Was awakening really that easy in this world?

-[PING!]

While Aiden was engrossed reading these notifications, he didn't notice when he got transported out of the VR awakening hall.

"I unlocked a skill for free. Dosen't that mean that i have to pay to unlock more?" Aiden had an headache.

He wanted to become powerful in this new world of magic, but the thing he lacked the most was money.

However, he decided to throw this matter aside and instead check on his User Interface panel.

Damn! this system was the main deal! expecially that bloodnine passive skill called Doublefold.

It would really come in handy in the future. Aiden moved over to check his comprehension tab.

-HIDDEN QUEST

1). Become the Strongest magus!!

*Rewards: None.

*Punishment: Death!

Aiden gulped. The system sure was very heartless. Become a magus? and worst, the strongest of them all..

Such aspirations were a far stretched dream to the current Aiden.

"Thankfully, there isn't a deadline" Aiden thanked his stars.

Atleast the system still had a thread of conscience. Although he wanted to grow powerful, he wasn't a power hungry maniac.

'Bloodline' he decided to check out the latest tab.

-[BLOODLINE]

1).

Name: Primordial Chaos Dragon bloodline.

Rank: Genesis rank

Status: Offline

Current Potential: 1000 damage. output.

ABILITY TREE

1).Category: BALANCE MAGIC - Name: Polar Opposites: (User can manifest an opposite to any event. 1000 damage output)

Aiden's breathing went ragged when he saw this. The polar opposite skill had a damage output of 1000! so many zeros.

And the skill itself was so out of this world! create polar opposites? didn't that mean he could bypass every single defense below the 1000 damage reduction output? Didn't that mean he could revive the dead.

Aiden's mouth watered. He couldn't wait to try out this new skill. But then the A.I's warning began to ring in his head.

"Bah! i will just depend on myself" Aiden sighed.

He felt like he had a huge cake on his laps. He could only ogle but not savour.

"I'm powerful now. It's time for me to leave this forest and find my family in this alternate reality" Aiden began to map out his next plan of action.

Just then, he heard the sound of leaves flapping. Although he didn't have any perception skills, he was a wind mage nothenless.

Gradually, the noise became louder and before he knew it, he saw a round rocky orb coming straight at him.

Shit!
