My Mage System (BL)

Hey everybody :) The story is still ongoing. I had a lot of health problems, but now I'm feeling better and I will get back soon to finish this story. I'm currently reediting my chapters, as anyway, I have to reread them before I can finish my story. Those chapters are marked like this *...* Be patient; I should be able to write new chapters by July 2025. Synopsis: He had been the best assassin of all time in his world, and when he was finally killed, a goddess took the opportunity to send his soul into the body of a boy in another world who was weak for now but who was destined to become the most powerful mage of this world. This young boy was called Kevin, and he decided to take his identity as he had kept his memories. The only thing he had in common with him was that they were both orphans, but Kevin had a weak mind and a weak body; in short, everything he hated the most. After successfully entering the Sun Sect as a mage, he managed to open the book Kevin had inherited from his parents and which he had been unable to open. What was his surprise when he realized that this book had turned into a System that allowed him to level up like in the virtual reality games he used to play in his home world. With the help of this System, he will fulfill his wish; he will become the most powerful human of this world. Not even shapeshifters or demons will be able to do anything to him. ………… Kevin turned his head towards him, and seeing that he was still naked, he said, looking away again, "Get dressed first, then we'll talk." Axel found some clothes that looked loose and put them on right away. He also took a pair of daggers whose blades were just a little shorter than his forearms, and he then approached Kevin and hugged him from behind. Kevin let him do whatever he wanted, even though one of his daggers was now very close to his throat. Axel said to him, close to his ear, "I want to trust you, Kevin, so give me a good reason to." Kevin then asked him, "What do you want to know?" Axel sighed; threatening Kevin with his own daggers won't do him any good, and he risked breaking the bond they were just making. He then made a decision and planted the two daggers in the ground in front of them. He ran his hands under Kevin's sweater and circled his waist with them, pressing him more against him. Kevin hadn't expected this turn of events, and he felt his heartbeat quicken. Axel's hands were warm, and he could feel his huge erection against him. One thing was sure: it did not leave him indifferent. ……….. WARNING: This is not a slow-burn romance, and it's an R18 BL novel with lots of spicy scenes, so if you like reading 100 chapters before the MC and ML kiss for the first time, just skip this story; it's definitely not for you. Otherwise, follow the adventures of our two heroes. If you love worlds filled with mysterious creatures, magic, fights, dungeons, a System that allows you to level up quickly, and a unique and powerful love story, then this story is for you. ……………. If you like this story, give a try to my other novels: The Divine Mage System The Celestial Phoenix and His Guardian (BL) Reincarnated to Save the Universe (GL/BL) Enjoy your reading time, and don’t forget to vote, comment, and review :)

*The test*

He saw the man motioning for him to continue, so he said, "This gauge must be for measuring our soul force, and this crystal ball must determine which elements we are compatible with."

The man nodded and said, "That's right; good deduction. Now, Kevin, let's get down to business."

Kevin smirked; he couldn't wait to know the result of this test. It had been a while since he felt so excited.

The man instructed him, "Please start by putting your hand on the red button at the bottom of the gauge, and you need to stare at the crystal at the top of it. This will allow me to measure the power of your soul force."

He did as instructed, and immediately the gauge began to rise; it resembled an old thermometer from his world. The maximum it could reach was 1000, and the gauge stopped at 180. He had no idea what that number might mean, but if he had a soul force, it had to mean he could become a mage, right?

He glanced at the man, who seemed to have no reaction, and then the man said, "Kevin, just place your hand on the crystal ball, and I'll explain everything to you after the test."

He obeyed, feeling very curious to know which elements he had an affinity with.

In the crystal ball, a yellow glow appeared, which was then replaced by a bright blue, and finally, the crystal ball returned to its original color. When he tried to withdraw his hand, the man suddenly stood up and said hastily, "Wait! Don't move your hand yet."

The man was staring at the crystal ball as if he couldn't believe his eyes, and finally, he saw what the man had probably seen before him. Silver sparks began to appear in the center of the crystal ball, transforming into small lightning bolts that now spread across the surface of the strange ball. His hand, resting on it, began to heat up significantly, and he pulled it away when he started to feel a burn. Looking at his palm, he saw that it was indeed burnt.

The man walked around the table and took Kevin's hand, covering it with his own as a green light appeared. He felt the pain vanish instantly, and when the man released his hand, the burn mark was completely gone.

Kevin exclaimed, "So cool! Thank you, sir."

The man finally introduced himself: "You're welcome, and you can call me Alan. I'll be one of your seniors when you join the Sun Sect."

Alan was a famous mage in the Sun Sect, and his senses were very keen. He took Kevin's chin with his hand and rotated his head; when he saw the head injury, he frowned.

He examined it and asked, "The blood is still fresh, but your wound seems healed. What happened to you?"

Kevin had completely forgotten about the wound on his head; of course, he couldn't tell him the truth. If he revealed that the owner of this body was dead and that when he took possession of it, the wound had apparently healed on its own, Alan probably wouldn't believe him anyway.

So without even blinking, he said, "I got pushed into a crowded street. My head hit a wall, but luckily a stranger helped me, and after that, I was no longer in pain."

He noticed Alan frowning again, asking curiously, "Is something wrong?"

After double-checking that the wound had healed properly and was not at risk of becoming infected, Alan said, "No, everything is fine. You were lucky that the one who helped you did a good job."

Alan saw that Kevin was looking again at the table where he had just taken the test and decided to explain to him what had just happened.

He first asked, "Kevin, do you have any idea of the result of the test and its meaning?"

Kevin looked at Alan again; his eyes didn't betray his emotions. He had long since learned to hide them, but this new world was really, really exciting, so he just shook his head to indicate that he had no idea about it.

Alan nodded and returned to sit behind the table. He motioned for Kevin to sit down again and began his explanation.

He showed him the gauge that had measured his soul force and said, "As you can see, your soul force has reached 180. To become a mage, you must reach at least 150, so it was a close call for you."

Kevin's eyes widened; he had almost failed the test. This body was decidedly too weak—not only physically but apparently also in terms of soul force.

Alan smiled at him and said, "Don't worry; the important thing is that you are over 150. You will be able to train to improve your soul force once you're in the Sect."

When Alan saw that Kevin seemed reassured, he added, "Even if your soul force is rather weak at the moment, your affinity with the elements is exceptional."

Alan was a little surprised by Kevin's behavior. Since he had reacted to the news of his weak soul force, Alan had seen a flicker of determination in his eyes, but then nothing. He couldn't guess what Kevin was thinking.

He decided to continue his explanation and see if he could perceive any other emotion on Kevin's face, which looked at him politely but obviously with detachment.

He said, "Most mages have an affinity with one or two elements, but you have an affinity with three elements. Let me explain. The first that appeared in the crystal ball, the faint yellow glow, was the wind element. The first element that appears is always the weakest, while the last is the one with which you will have the most affinity and therefore which will be easier for you to master. The blue light that appeared is the water element, and the lightning that burned your hand is obviously the lightning element."

Kevin frowned, but Alan still couldn't figure out what he was thinking, so he finally told him, "Kevin, having an affinity with three elements is already something extraordinary, but the most surprising part is that your main element is the lightning one."

Kevin then asked curiously, "Why?"
