She is ready
Pearl sighed. Taking a few deep breaths she patted those guards back to move away. Walking forward to his direction she stopped in front of him.
Bending down to face that face a little closer she spoke lightly to him. "Believe me or not, I can kill you first."
"How dare you! You don't know me! I can be the worst of your dreams." Navi shouted.
Pearl didn't reply to that and went back to her spot as she ignored his yelling.
After the outburst, Navi's mind started doing some reasoning. Thinking of his possible backup he smiled and proudly shouted. "Do you think I have nothing to fight back? Don't forget I still have those shipments! If you dare to do anything to me, forget about your shipment and your project, which will never see the light again because of your overconfidence."
Hearing that, some of the rightful directors, with Jonas and Yohaan and with Ajay, got a little worried about such a threat.
No one among them wanted their company to face loss. If anything happens the loss will be faced by SI the most.
Ajay wanted to compromise with Navi and wanted to forgive him so that he could save his granddaughter's project. However, before he could say anything, Pearl called.
"Rishi?"
Rishi showed his gentle smile and showed the live video of their storage building to Navi. "They are perfectly secured at our storage."
Navi's eyes widened. With him, Ajay and others were shocked too. "When did this happen?"
Ajay and Navi asked at once. "Long ago. Moreover, the construction work has already started." Rishi replied with a grin.
"You can't do this to me! You can't! I signed a contract with you last night. You promised to protect me!"
"What contract?" Jonas asked at once.
"Her secretary came to me last night. And I still have that contract with me in my locker."
Rishi couldn't help but laugh delightfully.
"Rishi?" Pearl called him again.
"I brought it back too." Rishi replied with a victorious smile. Last night with his subordinates, he stole the papers without any ruckus.
Navi started feeling dizzy all over. It's hard to stay intact in the right mind after losing everything from his grasp in just a few minutes.
"You! You- You will regret this."
"Try me." She replied.
"Now, sign those papers. I don't have much time."
On the side of the conference hall, both Amit and Smith with Kapoor and Vipul were standing alone watching the whole drama unfolding.
Although they had lost to everything, they were somehow grateful for not facing that face so close to them. When Pearl spoke such words like killing, they felt it to their core.
They can't be more grateful that Pearl is letting them go. They were grateful that their deeds were not as bad as Navi.
Around the table the sitting directors were having the same thought. Everyone has dirt on them but they never thought of betraying their own company.
Today none of them ever thought that their day would end this way. Pearl's given file to those culprits was like a warning to them. They clearly got one thing that Pearl had collected dirt on everyone, but decided to deal with only five of them today.
When they were thinking about the power they hold, they suddenly realized that it was nothing once Pearl decided to talk.
And now when she holds 9 percent of the share, her authority can't be questioned by them. And not just 9, once Ajay decided to leave he would give his 27 percent to her too.
And then any sensible person would know where to stand and to whom they should support.
Today Pearl's every action proved her capability and decision-making mind, which can't be questioned by anyone, anymore either.
Not just those directors, even Yohaan and Jonas felt thankful towards Pearl. Though they were against each other, and in every meeting both of them tried their best to insult Pear, still Pearl supported them backstage.
Where she could easily use such files to arrest them and clean their name forever from SI, she still spends her resources to find out the real truth.
Where she had the power to blackmail them too, she didn't. Her character and liability towards her company were clearly visible to her every decision.
She proved them wrong. And both of them accepted their defeat.
Once Navi signed the contract, Ajay finally felt relieved. Whatever happened today was not just an eye opener to others but also an eye opener to him.
He had seen Pearl's capability in taking decisions with company matters. And not to say, he wanted her to be his heir particularly because of this.
However, it was always a theory, never in practical life. He had thought of letting her work alone for a year before letting her take his seat.
But because of his health, that one year turned into half a year. But now just within one month, she started facing problems from those directors.
Taking this chance he wanted to give her a reality check of a cruel world. A world where emotions matter to nothing and only power and mind speak.
The moment he thought that she would lose to those hags and would need his or Emmett support, Pearl showed her true self.
When he thought that this time there is no recovery, she showed her own path which needed no one besides her.
Her every comeback shocked him and made him realize his mistake of not trusting his granddaughter. Today though he was stunned, he was relieved.
Every time, whenever he looked at his granddaughter he always feared leaving her alone. Unlike how she showed her devil face to the world, her heart is something more fragile than a glass.
He was scared of her facing such harsh truth alone.
However, now seeing her standing alone to everyone and still winning such a fight, he was relieved and ready to take that death bed.
