"Pak!!" a resounding slap echoed around the Wang mansion. It was a slap delivered to Lixi once she came closer to her step mother. Lixi held her left cheek which was grazed by the thief, making it more painful from the thunderous slap delivered to her. She knew it had something to do with the news that she was sure by now had spread across all social media platforms.

"Look at her Mark, look at your daughter who doesn't seem to even care because well she is the fiancee of Jiang Lijun." said Mrs Wang in complete disgust. Lixi was now sure as death yep that was all this was about.

"Lixi why didn't you take my phone calls" asked Mr Wang firmly ignoring his wife's words. "Father it...

" How did you do it sister? How did you do it!? Did you crawl your way into his bed or did you bewitch him? How did you get him?! "Lisa had cut Lixi off and was slowly asking the questions like a physcho..... Well right now she looked like one with the makeup smudged all over her face and red puffy eyes.

Lixi hearing her sister's questions smiled bitterly knowing that's what the whole family thought of her. They always took her sister's words for the truth all the time so she knew trying to explain herself was futile like chasing the wind. So she would just save her precious breath instead of trying to explain the truth which to them would of course appear as lies. So instead Lixi decided today she was going to push their buttons so hard.

"Mother, why did you slap me? '' asked Lixi camly making Mrs Wang who was already irritated cause she wasn't answering her daughter's and husband's questions more angry." I slapped you cause you deserve it. How could you do this to your sister Lixi? You know and knew how your sister has been wanting to be with Jiang Lijun, but you... being the selfish brat and envious sister.... stole him away from her!!" Mrs Wang said yelling her heart out. Lixi stared at her step mother no complete expression on her face she was used to those words of her being envious and selfish whenever things didn't go well for her daughter.

" Mark look at her she isn't even guilty am starting to believe she has..... Oh no Lixi! did you become a whore just to piss of your sister and be in a secret relationship with the man she loves!?" said Mrs Wang throwing her insults like seeds in the field.

Mr Wang glared at his wife making her just roll her eyes indifferently. Lisa smirked knowing very well she had her mother's support and with little tears she could have her father's side too. She knew it was time to unleash her white lotus act of the day.

"Lixi answer your mother's questions and explain to us what's going on!" Mr Wang said firmly looking at his eldest daughter. "Mother, father why aren't you all happy for me.? I mean if one of your daughters didn't man up and confess her feelings to Jiang Lijun, well at least the loser daughter did and it went well cause we have been in a hidden relationship for sooo long" Lixi said savegly looking at her younger sister while smirking knowing she would be more than mad.

"Lixi don't you have any shame that you are even admitting to your very on mistake!!"

"Father! You don't call blessings mistakes..... No... and by the way you guys didn't you see it was my Lijun that admitted it to everyone that I am his fiancee and not the other way round?" Lixi said knowing she was about to sugar coat everything and lie to everyone in the room." I actually wanted it to be a surprise to all of you but my tiger..... Oops sorry..... That's what I call him.... He was too impatient and decided enough was enough and our relationship deserved to be out in public and that everyone should come to know that the future Mrs Jiang has been here all along" Lixi said taking a seat now tired of lying cause she wasn't used to it. "Look at her mum she is even gloating after stealing my future boyfriend away from me. You witch..... All I ever wanted in this world is to be with Lijun but you.... Took him away from me you witch!!!" yelled Lisa and at the same time she raised her hand to slap Lixi but she caught it before that slap that was to land on the same cheek that was slapped and still grazed leave a mark.

" Next time you try to lie your filthy hands on me Lisa ill remind you that you're not a real Wang and it's you and your wretched mother that crawled your way into my family.... Hope you understand that... Sister!!" Lixi said shoving her which made the ever so dramatic Lisa see the chance to fall down on the floor.

" How dare you talk like that to your younger sister Wang Lixi!! "Mr Wang asked furiously. His eyes carrying so much anger even though he knew deep down that was the truth." Mark now that your daughter is Jiang Lijun's fiancee she thinks she has made it. She can talk to us how she likes!? I won't tolerate this insult mark, please look at what she has done to my daughter" Mrs Wang hurriedly said as she ran to her daughter's side, who was crying as if she were pushed down a cliff or something. "Father, I think both your wife and daughter can win an award for this.... I guess Lisa didn't need to attend the acting classes to be this good, cause she is a natural father." Lixi said with a smirk while looking at her sister do what she was always good at.... and that was seek pity from her father so that she could be punished.

Mr Wang seeing that made his heart tighten and before he knew it he barked at Lixi." I see you have lost all humanity in this world since you have become Mr jiang's fiancee or something..... look at your poor sister and mother do you think your mother would have wanted you to say stuff like that to them Lixi? The smirk on Lixi's face was long gone on the mention of her mother. This was what her father always did whenever she wanted her to agree on something. He always involved her mother into it. 'Am sure your mum would have wanted me to remarry cause that would make me and you happy' 'Lixi dear, do you think your mum would be happy if you refuse to share your toys with your little sister?!' Lixi never refused until she came to know her father's cheap tricks.

"Father enough!! Don't involve my poor mother into this. You as my father should be happy cause I've found somebody who finally cares and loves me but you want me to give him up because you poor little princess had set eyes on him first? I've given this girl everything and am not going to give her anything any more. You can tell your pathetic little wife to tell her pathetic little offspring she calls a daughter that he is mine and sharing is the one am not going to do!!

"Pak!!!" another slap resounded harshly and much louder than the other one. Lixi touched her burning cheek and a tear drop fell down. She felt a lump on her throat and she bit her lips to prevent herself from sobbing out loud she still couldn't believe her father had slapped her, a person who had never raised a finger at her. "Today Lixi, I am ashamed to call you my daughter!!"

Lisa seeing this smiled and knew she had done it.

Lixi felt her already broken heart brake into a million pieces after her father's words she couldn't hold it in anymore and more tears came from her eyes making them sparkle. She sniffed and wiped her tears before looking at her father and standing up from the sofa. "Father you don't have to worry about me cause the feeling is pretty much mutual!!"Lixi said the words camly but Mr Wang knew the weight of the words were really heavy and they came from somewhere deep.
