SIXTY- SEVEN

I was alone again in the house after that and I forgot how lonely I used to feel with no one except the servants and instructors around.

I also got distracted and couldn't focus much, my grades went bad and I was also depressed.

On one fateful day, Mark worked from the mansion and he saw me groaning as I walked down the stairs, he knew something was wrong.

He walked to me and said,"Tommy, how would you like to start going to school again?"

"Seriously?!"

"You've been homeschooled for well over a year so...yeah."

I smiled and hugged him then said,"I'd love to!"

I looked forward to going back to school from that day and was changed back to my old, joyful, perfect graded self.

I went to tell Lucille I was coming back to school the next day and she was overjoyed.

The day for school to begin arrived and I went into Mark's car. He drove me to school and lots of eyes were on me.

I also heard whispers in the hallway as I made my way to my locker.

I went into my first class early and sat down. I felt weird, I had forgotten what it was like to be in a school.

Mark still worried about Oleh so had guards watching me.

The class was about to start when the door opened and three big boys entered.

They looked too old to be in my class and were dressed inappropriately as they made their way to their seats.

The teacher began the lesson and I payed attention till it was done.

I walked through the hallway and saw a poster which showed tryouts for the cheer leading team.

Free running was similar to cheer leading so I signed up.

The moment I was done writing my name, I saw a vision, no, better, I saw a day dream. It was walking my way and all the boys had their eyes on it.

It had its hair dyed ruby red and cold sapphire blue eyes. Its lips had sharp edges and were bright pink, its walk was so perfect, no, no, it didn't walk, it glided.

I pinched myself when it got closer and felt it...this was real.

She opened the locker right next to mine and I said,"Hi."

She didn't respond, probably because I said it in my head.

I spoke this time and she looked at me, smiled and said,"Hi."

Then she walked away.

I felt my insides melting and then saw the three musketeers flirt with her. That made me angry for some reason and she didn't seem interested.

I wanted to go to her rescue but when I got there, she frowned at me and said,"I'm not some delicate damsel in distress so leave me alone."

Then she walked away and the three big guys glared at me but the bell rang.

I had to know more about that girl.

During gym class, the gym teacher told us we were going to have a test. Wrestling matches.

How long you last will determine your score but the lion's share of the mark will come from winning.

He was pitching the first pair when the door opened and I saw...the girl.

All the boys drooled as she made her way to a seat, even the gym teacher seemed stunned, that's how beautiful she was.

After she sat down—without any penalty for making tarty—the gym teacher continued.

He paired Alister, a small, thin, boy in glasses, with Andrew, one of the three musketeers.

I thought it was unfair as the boy quaked but the gym teacher turned a deaf ear to my protest.

The boy took one knuckle sandwich and blacked out. I felt sorry for him but everyone else laughed, apart from a minority which included the girl.

He then paired the girl—whose name was Ruby—with Apollo, the biggest of the trio.

Why is this gym teacher always making unfair pairs?!

He marched and met her in the center of the ring.

He smirked and said,"Don't worry doll, I'll take it easy on you."

She asked,"Did you just call me doll?"

The gym teacher blew the whistle and she kicked him in his manhood.

He bent down in pain and she elbowed him in the back of the neck then he fell flat.

She turned to leave the I yelled,"Look out!"

She turned and sent her head to her right side to dodge the fist he threw at her face then she turned to the left to dodge another punch.

She then spun on one arm and kicked him across the face twice, then she stood and b- aerial kicked him.

Before she landed, she wrapped her legs around his neck and threw him down. Then she pulled his arm and he yelped in pain and tapped out.

After she was sure he had gotten the message, she said,"Don't call me doll."

She modeled back to her seat and everyone was shocked.

I was paired with a boy called Smith and I wanted to talk to Ruby so I made it quick.

I spun and landed on my upper arms and used my legs to kick his off balance and the moment he fell, I held him in a headlock till he passed out.

I ran to her as she left the room and called her, she looked back and said,"Well isn't it Tommy, my knight in shining armor."

I scratched the back of my head and said,"Yeah, I'm sorry about what happened earlier, why don't we get to know each other better?"

She arched a brow and said,"I have a boyfriend you know."

"Really?"I said, very disappointed,"Of course you do, I mean, look at you, any guy would want you."

She frowned and said,"Excuse me?!"

That came out wrong...

" I am not some prize that men should fight over and FYI, I don't have a boyfriend yet I'm not giving a shallow guy like you even the slightest chance."

With that, she stormed away.

I felt so stupid!

How could you say something like that to her?!

I just walked to the boys' locker room, angry at myself. I wanted another chance with her, but she hated me now.
