Why Should I? Because Your Face Is Huge?

The Hi fashion magazine shoot was in the morning, so after Qin Nuan had her breakfast, Li Jing drove her to the studio.

Qin Nuan walked into the studio's makeup room to find that there were several people inside. All of them were artists signed to Warm Hues Media Entertainment, so she went around to greet them one by one, then picked an empty seat, sat down, and waited for a makeup artist to do her makeup.

After waiting for about half an hour, the makeup artist finished styling the last person before finally reaching Qin Nuan.

"Miss Qin, I'm so sorry to keep you waiting."

Qin Nuan smiled at the makeup artist. "No worries, I'm not in a hurry."

The makeup artist breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Qin Nuan was a friendly person.

She picked up the makeup brush and observed Qin Nuan's facial features very carefully. Then she complimented her, "Miss Qin, your facial features are too perfect. One of the evening gowns that the sponsor has sent to us is a red chiffon dress, and I think it'll look especially nice on you."

After saying that, the makeup artist got her assistant to get the clothes.

She picked the palest foundation and was about to start applying it on Qin Nuan when she heard a lot of commotion outside the makeup room, so she turned to take a look.

Qin Nuan heard the commotion, too, so she casually glanced out of the door to find that Bai Weiwei had just pushed the door of the room open and made a grand entrance with a group of people.

Qin Nuan raised her eyebrow imperceptibly. As the saying went, enemies were always bound to cross paths.

Just like how Qin Nuan had noticed Bai Weiwei, Bai Weiwei had also noticed Qin Nuan. The smile on her face froze for a moment before it became even more brilliant than before.

She turned to wave at the person outside the door and spoke in a gentle and coquettish voice, "Brother Lingcheng, wait for me outside! I'll be done in a minute!"

After that, she turned her chin up and gave Qin Nuan a provocative look.

Qin Nuan really didn't know what to say about Bai Weiwei's level of intelligence. She glanced out of the door but only saw a corner of a dark gray suit jacket. It seemed like this almighty Li Group CEO didn't really like to reveal his identity in front of everyone else.

After all, it wasn't a good thing for others to see how the great Li Group's CEO neglected his enormous corporation to accompany a small-time female celebrity.

Bai Weiwei didn't see the expression she had hoped to see on Qin Nuan's face and felt a little defeated.

She glanced at the makeup artist next to Qin Nuan, looked around, then suddenly bowed to everyone inside the makeup room before speaking in a sincere and earnest voice, "Dear makeup artists, we had to go for another promotional activity in the morning, and that's why we've come a little late. The photographer is already calling for us to go over for our photoshoot, so could you please help to do the makeup for our team first?"

Everyone else in the makeup room already had their makeup done, so when they saw that Bai Weiwei was doing this for the team and had made this request so politely and sincerely, they all agreed and allowed the makeup artist next to them to attend to T-SIX's makeup instead.

Bai Weiwei's gaze landed on the makeup artist next to Qin Nuan.

She walked over and sat down next to Qin Nuan, then turned to say in a low voice, "Qin Nuan, if I remember correctly, you're taking photos for the insert of this issue. You're just an insert and not the cover, so you're not that important, and they're going to take a few casual shots. So why don't you let me have this makeup artist? If I look pretty in this photoshoot, many people would be willing to buy this issue, and they'd see you if and only if they actually buy the issue. So at the end of the day, I'd actually be helping you out."

Qin Nuan gave Bai Weiwei a sideways glance as her ears filtered out all the unnecessary things she said. "And why should I? Because your face is huge? Don't you understand what first come, first served means?"

Bai Weiwei's face instantly turned red from her anger. She widened her eyes, put on an expression that looked like she was about to cry, and increased her volume suddenly. "Miss Qin, I thought you were a kind and generous person, and I didn't think you would mind letting your makeup artist do my makeup first. I can't believe you are so unfriendly even to someone from the same company as you."

At this point, all the other artists in the makeup room had gone out, so the room was left with only the members of T-SIX and the makeup artists. All of them started chastising Qin Nuan verbally when they heard what Bai Weiwei just said.
