Celebration..

---

"Yes, I saw him fast and brought him out, and started hurrying to you because I knew you followed the wrong path. As I dropped him outside, I cast my location spell on you and followed it," Angel revealed.

"So if you saw him, then who the hell did I see?!"

"Maybe the smoke and everything made you hallucinate seeing someone?"

"No, I'm confident in what I saw. I wasn't seeing things."

"Now you're confusing me, Anon," Angel was confused and worried.

"I could hear sounds from the floor above mine, and when I went over there, I saw someone. I couldn't see his face well, though."

"Well, you were just saying, 'don't jump.' I knew something was wrong somewhere," Angel said.

"Yes, he was all about me being a weakling and not strong, then went on to jump through the window."

"A weakling? He must be joking, but off the building? We were on like the third floor!" Angel was amazed.

"The part that amazed me the most was that he knew my name."

"He knew your name?"

"Yes, he said something like, 'till later, Anon.' I've forgotten, but Migraine ahh!! My head..." A very sharp pain suddenly hit my head.

"For some reason, I feel like he knows or knew Teresa."

"And what could give that away?" Angel asked.

"You may not know this, but when Teresa killed you in the dream world, she was saying a word: 'Sayonara.'"

"Hmmm... I still don't see the point there," Angel wasn't getting it.

"Well, the problem here is, before he jumped, he said that same word: 'Sayonara.'"

"Ohhh! That could give it away, but that could be a fluke."

"You see, there are many things that make it seem less like a coincidence. Like, firstly, when we found out that Teresa has a brother who she called Oniichan, which we thought was a name but is actually what a tribe refers to as 'big brother.' And we also—"

"Yes, we did find out about all these, but he could be someone from that clan and not Teresa's brother," Angel interrupted, still unconvinced.

"But the townspeople—"

"Shhh... Anon, you don't need this now. You need to rest."

"But can't you see there—" I was trying to speak, but Angel just wanted me to rest and nothing more.

"There is nothing, and even if he is the one, we're stronger than before, and we have more skills. So, Anon, let this slide." She insisted.

"He was able to withstand—"

"Nooo! Anon, he wasn't anything. We have customers outside, and I can't continue listening to this conversation. I said you should rest, but if you feel you're alright and ready for replies, come and join me and Linda at the counter."

"Seriously, hope you aren't pulling my leg," I replied, concerned about the customers.

"Yes, people rushed in after the fire because some sustained injuries. They came to get some healing items and painkillers."

"Wow! Then what are we waiting for?" I was beyond amazed and so excited—the last time I could remember, we didn't have any customers.

"Oh! You're not talking about your encounter in the fire anymore," she said in a sarcastic manner.

"Hmm... nice one, but I'm serious. But as you said, I should let it slide, and that I will... for now."

"Yeah, typical you. Why wouldn't you? Smiles"

I got up and was already heading to the apothecary side of the house when I realized, "Wait!! Who is Linda?"

"Archetypal you. I thought you wouldn't ask—always forgetting to focus on what's in front and going for the ones far ahead."

"Ha-ha, not funny. But I am fully aware of my surroundings, and I'm still asking: WHO IS LINDA, and why is she at our counter selling our items?"

"Hmm… Mr. Awareness, Linda is the lady I told you about earlier, the one we helped get her son out of the fire, and the one I allowed to stay in our home until she's capable again," Angel revealed.

"Oh, okay, that's nice that we allowed her and her son to stay here. Really nice." I made a weird look on my face, which I tried to hide immediately.

"Yes, I can say that, but I don't know about you, considering the look on your face."

"It's nothing, just leave it. As for the expression on my face, I'm stressed out," I answered back.

"Anon, stressed out?" Angel seemed not to believe what I said.

"No, seriously. I'm just stressed out and nothing more or less."

"Anon!!"

"Okay, okay, you got me. I know it's good to help people out, but I still find it odd that you trusted her enough to allow her to sell our self-made drugs. She could be—"

"Ha-ha-ha, caught you again, and you claim you know your surroundings."

"What does that have to do with this now?" Angel apparently wanted to stress me psychologically.

"Let's go to the counter now, and you'll see what I'm talking about."

"Hmm, if you say so." We went, and when we got there, to my greatest surprise, I couldn't believe my eyes.

"I don't get it, Angel. There's no one here. Are you playing pranks on me?!" The whole room was empty, not a soul in sight.

"No, dumdum. Look out the window and tell me what you see."

I went closer to the window to get a view of whatever she was talking about, but I still didn't see anything. "Everything is completely dark. How do you expect me to see what you're talking about?" This was confusing me and hurting my head altogether.

"Exactly, Anon, exactly!" she said.

I stared at her, overwhelmed. I couldn't figure her out at all.

"What is all this, Angel? Why are you playing games with me? I thought you wanted me to rest, but you're just getting me worked up for nothing. You made me think we had customers, but—"

"Yes, we did," she cut in.

"Well, if you were a bit smarter or knew your environment as you claimed, you wouldn't get all worked up for nothing."

"And what's that supposed to mean?"

"It's night, Anon. It's night, gosh!" She looked tired and stressed out with her jokes, but I still didn't get what she was saying.

"If it's night, what's the problem? I don't get the point of the jokes, and didn't—"

"Anon!! It's night, and the apothecary is closed. All the buyers have gone already. We sold stuff, treated people, and closed for the day. And yes, Linda didn't sell things with me; she only helped serve and went out to get more buyers. Anon, why are you this witless and dense?" I looked out carefully and realized it was indeed late at night. I also noticed some items were missing—likely sold already. The shop was almost out of visible stock, meaning everything had been sold.

I realized I wasn't as conscious of my surroundings as I thought.

"Oh, my precious Angel, I didn't mean to drive your travesties stressful. Can you please pardon me, my adorable friend?" I knelt on one knee, held her hand, and placed a kiss on it.

SLAP!! That slap separated my soul from my body.

"This is the second time you've hit me, Angel. You slapped me, but I will still inquire for forgiveness, my dear Angel." I tried to repeat my last action, but she moved back quickly and said, "I have forgiven you. Don't do that again!" I was delighted she forgave me, though she didn't want another kiss on the hand. I could swear I saw her blush the first time.

"Thank you very much. So tell me, how much did we make?" I wanted to know if we made a profit on the first day.

"Almost what we make daily at Mr. Daniel's."

"Wow, that's nice, that's nice. I'm very happy. I thought today would be a failure." I was astonished.

"Yeah, I was delighted back then, and I still am now."

"We have to celebrate," I suggested.

"Celebrate?" Angel asked.

"Yes! After all this talk and stress, we deserve some CELEBRATION!!!"
