Chapter 6

A man from the City Watch came to our home and asked for uncollected tax we told him we already paid the tax then he slaps me and informs me he is a knight and as a smallfolk I have no right to speak. I was pissed yet contained myself, since we are surrounded then Serena came and introduced herself the Man just laughed at her and told us a disgraced noble should not talk either we pay or he will sell Serena to the brothel.

We ask how much do we owe and he told us 5000 gold dragons. I just paid the man to prevent unnecesarry conflict yet after a week he came again and ask for another 5000 Gold dragons.

After that I have decided to ask around about him. The merchants told me he is Ser Burn Gorman, he is a brute and what he is doing is illegal. The only reason we are unable to report him is because of the Master of Coin is protecting him.

Burn Gorman POV

Hehehe easy money, It seems the rumour are true about that Soap Maker. He is loaded but damn that girl of his is beautiful. I wonder how can I take her and bed her. Maybe I can kidnap her while she goes to the market.

Carlos POV

I had some orphans follow him around and found out that he is staying on one of the house alone near the docks.

I also got some info that he has been asking people to follow. well that pisses me off, he has to die now but how to get away with it.

when one of the kids told me he can get me a wild fire cache.

I immediately ask him to get me a bottle of it and he agreed don't know. how he can extract wildfire, especially with how volatile it is, with that I gave him 10 gold dragons and proceed to the docks.

While he was out I entered through the window and waited for him to enter the room. I hid from under the bed when he suddenly enters the room carrying a sack. when he opens the sack I saw Serena barely concious and tied up he throws her body to the bed. while he turned around to remove his armor,I crept out of the bed and stabs him but his quick reflexes was able to save him that I was only able to stab him on his right shoulder. he then puch me to the face which hurts as hell and made me dizzy for a while. He then grabs his sword and swing it overhead when it hit the a wood on the ceiling stopping his blade. with that I stab him again to the chest but his hand was able to hold the dagger. I retracted the dagger, allowing me to slice of his finger, then tackle him to the ground. while pushing the dagger into his chest until he was stabbed through the heart killing him instantly.

I woke Serena up when she saw me she kissed me suddenly and hugged me while crying I told her we need to leave when she told me to ransack the place. Before we left we burned the place down with wild fire
