Griffin's face turned dark and he quickly ended the call and turned his cellphone off before tossing it aside.
He didn't want to spoil his mood by attending her call when he knew what she would talk.
"Who was it?" Jack asked pulling his eyes from a file in his hand and looked at his younger son who suddenly looked displeased.
Jack knew Griffin wasn't as serious as compared to Evan but the boy had a temper just like him which was why he didn't entirely lose his faith in him. He thought there were still chances of him becoming a good hunter.
"Nothing, it's just a blank call" came his sullen reply and Jack shook his head.
"By the way, how are things in Orchid? Did you find anything suspicious" Jack asked. His gaze keenly observing his son.
"No, I don't think there is anything wrong going in there. Everything and everyone looks normal" Griffin answered in a dull tone.
