Chapter 1

  Rosie's POV

"It's finally over!" Sarah said to me in an excited tone as the college bell rang. I laughed at her and got up.

My laugh was just a reaction to the pitiful expression she had on her face a while ago. She changes every second, but still she has been my friend since we were in sixth grade.

"I'm so done here," she hurriedly packed her stuff and got up. I followed her as we ran out of the place - literally ran - with Ms. Chills shouting at us to be in a line.

  Fuck line.

As we reached the yard where everyone was present and busy in talking, we slowed down and started conversing as if we didn't have the entire day for that.

"I mean, did you see the way she was standing - like she was going to vomit any second!" Sarah continued talking and laughed while I didn't smile. My eyes were fixed at a guy in a black hoodie.

He wasn't normal. He wasn't following the dress code so it was safe to assume he was not from the college, though he sure was around the age - and his hair fell on his forehead, making him look damn handsome.

Sarah finally stopped and looked at me, curiously asking what was wrong - when she followed my sight to see the hot guy standing with a really cool posture - leaning against the wall and looking at his phone now.

Suddenly he looked up and before our eyes could meet, I looked down and murmured to my best friend - "let's get out of here."

She followed me and we were out of the campus and back to our dorms at the hostel we were staying.

  He was handsome.

  He was very handsome.

  Damn.

It didn't take long for her to figure out the mess my heart and mind was in after that - at lunch, I ate an egg - uh - do you know I'd rather die than eat it? But honestly, I thought it was bread. And after that, during our self study in the evening, I forgot to… study? I mean that's supposed to be normal - I think.

  Or not?

  Huh.

"C'mon. Just try and talk tomorrow!" She said as we were taking a night stroll in the park near our hostel.

"He won't even be there, I'm sure," I said as I sat down on the bench. "He wasn't from the college."

"Doesn't matter. Maybe his sister studies here!"

I looked away and smiled to myself. Maybe. Maybe I will see him again--

"Don't you dare ignore me or!" She said and stomped her legs. I looked a little towards her while she smirked evilly.

  "Maybe his girlfriend studies--"

  "Shut up!"

She chuckled while I sighed. God. She knows exactly what to say. She shouldn't know me that well!

I laughed too after a little while as we went back to our dorms.

  That night was different.

  A guy.

  Black hoodie.

  Black phone.

  Black hair.

I saw him in my dreams. I just wish to see him in reality again too. He was just like a character from one of my fantasies. If it weren't for Sarah, I wouldn't believe him to be real.

  ___________

The next day, my eyes opened up as early as 5 am. I knew I had to get up and get my ass to the campus - and wait for the dispersal till I can hope to see him again.

I'm not used to thinking about boys.

At least not them being the first thing when I wake up.

  I sighed and got up.

  Let's do it.

After reaching the college, I was panting heavily because I had rushed over - I got lost overthinking about what I'll do if I see him again and I was almost late. So much that I thought I wouldn't be allowed in. That scared the shit out of me.

I saw Sarah waiting in front of our class, which means I can safely assume that I am not that late.

"You messaged me at 5, remember?" She said as I caught up with her and we moved inside the classroom.

  "Uh… yeah!" I said, embarrassed.

  "Why are you late then?"

"Well, let's talk about that later!" I smiled innocently and went to my seat, followed by Sarah who sighed.

  I didn't want to study.

The lectures, the assignment and the lab practices went by smoothly.

I just hoped to see him once again.

It finally dispersed and Sarah dragged me out to the yard. I was suddenly nervous as I looked around to search for him.

It didn't take long for me to find him. He wasn't unnoticeable. Black hoodie again - I noticed him from top to bottom and vice versa.

I finally realized how perfect he looked.

Suddenly, when I looked up, I failed to look back down and our eyes met. That shit was scary. I looked down immediately and told Sarah to get the hell out of here while she kept saying some stuff like, "he's coming here."

Before I could process what the meaning of her words was, I could feel a figure standing by me. My eyes widened as I looked towards Sarah while tilting my head a little bit and her reaction was the same.

I closed my eyes and taking a deep breath, turned towards the guy.

  Oh.

  I was right.

  Perfect indeed.

His face looked extremely charming with those blue eyes. His nose was perfect and so were his lips, ears and hair - and did I mention his jawline?

He smirked and that's when I realized my creepy stare. I looked down and took a step back. "H-hey!"

  "Hello."

His voice was really soothing. I am not drooling and I am not lying! It was really very good.

"I… uh…" I had no idea what to say.

He took out a notebook from the black backpack he was carrying - the one I hadn't noticed till now - and then wrote something. I looked nervously over to my best friend while she didn't have any idea of what he was doing either.

After writing whatever he was writing on the paper, he tore it and handed it over to me with a smirk.

  "You've been watching me."

My eyes widened at his clear words and before I could reply, he continued.

  "Call me sometime."

I looked at the paper note in my hand and there it was - his number.

  I couldn't believe it.

  I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!

"I… uh… sure!" I said with a smile and looking at my smile with a smirk, he went back.

I couldn't stay any longer and so I and Sarah ran out to my dorm. That is where we meet in case of emergencies.

  This was… crazy!!
