My Hero Academia: The White Queen

It was a hot day in the Summer, although Emma wouldn't notice due to her sitting on her bed, relaxing while reading the latest chapter of My Hero Academia. She was both in love with the story and frustrated with it as she thought things like 'Why didn't they just take All for One out before he could try to merge with Shigaraki?' and 'What happened to the other countries' heroes who were supposed to be coming? Did they decide not to just because Star and Stripes died?'

After finishing the latest chapter, she decided to run and get takeout from her favorite restaurant.

She called in for an order of hot wings and fries, with a Pepsi on the side.

She got inside her car and began to drive across the city. While the restaurant wasn't a long distance from her, it was still a fair drive.

While driving, she saw a family of 3 going to get ice cream, causing her to show a sad smile. She and her parents had moved from America to Japan during her childhood years. However, both of her parents passed away whilst she was in her senior year of high school from a plane crash, caused by unchecked maintenance. Since then, she had been living on her own while working a day job to help support herself. 

Thankfully, her parents had already paid off the house that they had moved into, allowing her to live decently without having to worry about the struggles of housing.

She decided to listen to a YouTube video, one that was talking about the new status quo of the mutants in the X-Men comics. It explained how they had formed their own nation known as Krakoa, seemingly done attempting to forcefully coexist with humanity.

But, she got extremely excited as she heard that one of her favorite characters, Emma Frost, had become one of the leaders on the council that led the newly founded nation.

While most would assume that Emma had fallen in love with Frost simply because they had the same first name, the truth was that Emma wished she could be like the White Queen. From the high place in society that she owned, to having a powerful presence that would force everyone to pay attention to her.

That's without even mentioning her powers, which make her one of the most powerful Mutants in Marvel, capable of terrifying feats. Her telepathy could allow her to scan the minds of everyone in the world, along with her being one of the 5 telepaths on the planet capable of perfectly and seamlessly altering a mind.

And while her diamond form now prevents her from using her telepathy, (even though it didn't always), her strength and durability increased to extreme levels, with her being strong enough to easily lift two tons and durable enough to withstand attack from the Incredible Hulk.

It was at that moment that she turned her attention back to the road. However, instead of the traffic that was just there, she saw a child walking in the middle of the street and a black-haired girl running to push him out of the way of an incoming bus. She swerved to prevent herself from becoming part of the accident, but her car flipped as she tried to turn, sending her upside down and leaving her to fade into the darkness. The last memory that she could recall was the boy being pushed out of the way before the bus hit the girl. She then lost consciousness as she fell into a dark void.

The next time that she awoke, she was inside of a dark void, with only a ball of light serving as the only thing she could see.

The ball of light spoke when it saw she was finally waking up

"Hello child, its a pleasure to see you're awake."

Emma simply stared into the light for a second, before asking in an unsure voice "Am I dead?"

The light simply explained "Yes child, you are no longer in the living plane. You died due to an accident that happened to a boy that was crossing the street. However, that is not why I have called you here."

"Why did you call me here then? And why am I not sad or depressed about my death?" Emma asked.

"All emotions are suppressed here for rational thinking, allowing you to fully comprehend my options and your choices. As for why you are here, I simply felt that your death was a pity, so I have decided to send you to a world of my choosing with any power you may wish for, as long as it can comply with the rules of that universe. Nothing too outrageous or dangerous, just something that would not be seen as too far outside of the normal there." the light spoke.

"What world am I being sent to?" Emma asked so that she could make sure she chose her power accordingly.

"The world known to you as My Hero Academia is where I will be sending you. It's up to you to decide the nature of your quirk, however, abilities like reality warping and matter manipulation are prohibited as they go against the rules I stated earlier." the light said.

"I want the powers of Emma Frost." Emma said without a shred of hesitation. She always wished to have her abilities and develop them further than the real Emma Frost did.

The light seemed to shine brighter for a second before he said "Very well, however, you will face the same restrictions and drawbacks that she faces, the inability to use your psionic abilities whilst in your diamond state. The two abilities will be tied to your parents, with the assumption being that the two abilities stem from the same quirk."

Emma began to feel her consciousness fade away, but she heard the final words of the light before she could no longer feel it's warmth of see its brightness

"Live well child, and enjoy your new life."
