So Skinny

After washing up and changing his clothes, Izuku left his house and tried to get to the beach as fast as possible.

"It's already 9:10 am. But at least I won't be too late."

Toga Himiko was getting annoyed. She had arrived much earlier than it was stated, in hopes that Izuku would be training here. But to her surprise, he wasn't. He was even running late.

"I wonder if something came up. Ah, I am getting hungry. I will need to find someone else today. I don't want to hurt Izuku anymore." Toga mumbled.

She found a clean spot and sat down. She was waiting there for more than 2 hours but she won't berate him because of it. After all, she was the one who came too early.

*Click Clack*

With her heightened senses, she heard someone's footsteps. She stood up and went towards the source of the sound.

'It has to be Izuku! No one other than him ever comes to this beach.'

But her expectations were blown away the moment she saw a frail blond-haired man.

"Tch, It wasn't him. I have such a stroke of bad luck. Who is this freak anyway?"

The blond-haired man turned around and noticed Toga.

He was visibly surprised as he expected someone else to show up.

He also didn't sense Toga coming at all. He thought she must have some kind of a stealth quirk to be able to escape his senses. After all, All Might was the strongest hero and he fought in many battles.

'Did young Midoriya take a day off? Well, he deserves it considering he cleaned more than half of the beach already. I don' t think I could be as fast as him If I was his age.' All Might thought.

He went towards Toga and smiled,

"Hello, there miss. May I ask you something?"

Toga was on guard but she still answered, "Sure, what do you want?"

"It's like this, my student should be training around these parts but I haven' t seen him today. Didn't you see a teenager with green hair? He is about 185 centimeters tall. I am sure you wouldn't miss him."

"Ah, are you talking about Izuku?" Toga asked.

All Might's eyes immediately lit up after hearing that this girl knows him. "Yes. That's him, it appears that you are a friend of his, do you know where he is?"

Toga sighed and said, "I am sorry, but I am not sure, we were supposed to meet here at 9 am but he still didn't appear."

All Might nodded his head and replied, "So, he took a day off. Good. If you see him, please tell him to call me. Just say that Toshinori wants to see him. Have a nice day."

With that, All Might left the beach leaving Toga behind. He looked back at rhe girl and thought, 'Young Midoriya, you sure are a ladies man. But be careful with this one. Something seems off about her. I could smell blood. Let's hope it was just from an injury or something...' All Might sighed and finally left the beach.

Not long after, Izuku arrived and apologized for being late.

"I thought that you wouldn't come," Toga said.

"Hehe... I am sorry. I had some...business to attend to..." Izuku replied.

Toga smiled and said, "It's fine. What matters is that you are here now. Anyway, a weird guy was lurking around here and he said that you should call him."

'Weird guy? Does anyone else other than me and All Might come here?' Izuku thought.

"Do you know his name? Or at least how he looked like?"

"Let me see... Hm... He was wearing sunglasses, his hair was yellow and he looked so skinny. He told me his name was Toskarati or something along the line."

'All Might! so, he was here to check up on me. I should call him at once!' Izuku thought.

He picked up his phone and dialed All Might´s number.

"Toga, Can you wait for a bit, I need to call that man."

"Well...I survived till now, I might as well wait a few more minutes." Toga said and sat down on the truck tire.

"Thank you."

After a few seconds, a frail voice answered the phone.

"Ah... young Midoriya... I see that you took a day off."

Hearing him Izuku sighed and apologized, "Yeah, I am sorry. I had some family problems and I had to take a day off. I plan on relaxing in some cake store today. I will continue with your training tomorrow."

Hearing the word cake, Toga giggled in delight as if she couldn't wait anymore. Izuku smiled at her reaction and continued.

"I hope you are not mad at me for taking a day off."

All Might laughed and reassured him, "No, not at all. You have worked hard. You deserve a day off. You are so fast at cleaning, that I could give you a month off and you will still manage to do it in time."

Izuku puffed his chest in pride and asked, "My friend told me you wanted to meet me. What was it for?"

"Ah, I was planning on giving you a gift for your 16th birthday."

"Wait.. isn't my birthday in 5 months?" Izuku was confused.

"Well... I won't be able to meet you again until you pass the exams in U.A. So... based on that, I wanted to give you your present earlier. After all, you are my successor, the new symbol of peace!" All Might replied in happiness.

Hearing those words, Izuku jolted. 'These few days, I thought hard whether I should even become a hero. My enthusiasm for being a hero died off months ago. I used poison on a girl, killed tens of dungeon wolves, humanoid wolves and goblins, after that, even myself. Can I still be the symbol of peace when I am this twisted?'

Izuku silently replied, "I am flattered... Where do you want to meet?"

All Might thought for a while before replying, "How about we meet at the beach in 8 hours?"

"Sounds good, Goodbye All Might."

"Have a great time, young Midoriya."

*Beep*

"So, did you prepare something for me, I am dying of hunger." Toga complained.

Izuku came back to his senses and smiled. He put away his phone and placed his hand in front of him.

Toga stared at him in confusion.

A portal opened in front of them scaring Toga in the process.

Izuku took out some warm toasts and handed them to Toga.

"But how...Your mom told me you were quirkless. Did you lie to her?" Toga frowned.

"Did you forget you, dummy? You practically killed me, but I survived. This is also a part of my quirk and I will only show it to people I trust the most." Izuku replied with a slight smile.

"Oh, I am so glad that you trust me Izuku." Toga smiled.
