(Recap: Roy helps Nia to get her memory back).

After listening to Roy I all of a sudden went back in time as if I was watching a movie that had behind the scene parts revealing my lost memory. Why has my life turned out this way? My parents funeral ceremony was done by Roy because I wasn’t there to perform my last duty to my parents by saying my final farewell to them. This is why my uncle was so mean to me after the accident, he wanted to take all my parents money for himself only I knew that my fathers will was in his office at home. Since I could not remember that at the time, the state handed the hospital over to my uncle. The hospital he allowed me to run it since I am part owner. My uncle allowed me to keep my home but he took everything else. I lost my memory does not mean that I am no longer the child of my parents, all that was owned by them rightfully belongs to me. Now is my turn to get back what belongs to me.

Roy will you please come with me to my father’s office there is something that I need your help with. As we both enter dads office I tell Roy to help me look for my fathers will because I know in my heart that my parents will never give any of his property to his ungrateful younger brother. I tell Roy to help me move dads table so that I can get better access to his hidden storage room., as I enter the password to open the safe I find many letters, I look for the will.

The will states that the hospital belongs to Sam Brown as well as my father’s car. All my mother jewellery belongs to me except moms wedding ring which is to be given to the wife of Sam Brown. All moms clothes comes to me and if I choose I can give some of my mom’s clothes to Sam Browns wife. All the money that is in the conjoined account of mom and dad must be shared equally between both siblings.

As I read the will a letter falls onto the floor. The letter states: On the 12th of March 25 years ago mom gave birth to a baby boy. The hospital was doing maintenance in the maternity ward when an explosion too place. During the fire all the babies were moved to another ward. All the documents were burnt only the nurse that was taking care of Mary will know where baby Brown is but we never found her, all we know is that she saved our son. This letter is to be given to Nia in the unlikely case of our death she will know who to contact.

The day that Roy and Nia announced their engagement to all of us at his parents, house we met Ann Mackenzie she was the nurse that took care of Mary, she said that she did not remember our address to find us, she only knew us as David Brown and Mary Brown. She told us that she saved our son and raised him as her own. We now know that our long lost son is Sam Brown. Anna could not find us yet she kept his surname Brown so that later on there will not be any issues We hid this truth from Nia because we want to tell her at out next family meeting after her honeymoon. I wonder how she will react to the fact that the boy she looked up to, who she took as her big brother is her real brother.

After I read this letter I turn to Roy with tears in my eyes as I tell him that Sam is my real brother and that we need to find him. Roy will you please help me getting my father’s business back from my uncle? Nia let me handle this from here my team of lawyers will sort this out I just need to make a few phone calls.

After I read the letter I knew Nia will ask me for help in getting her father’s business back. I quickly call Jason. I met Jason at university we are the same age Jason was studying to become a lawyer at that time and now he is my companies legal advisor. Hello Jason I need your help can we meet at Tommys café? Thank you so much I am bringing Nia with me there is something you need to see. Nia I spoke to Jason we are meeting him at Tommys café are you okay to leave now are do you want to rest for a while? Roy I need to do this my uncle has been controlling me, breaking my heart every time by saying hurtful things to me, Roy all I am is your heart broken wife, broken by her own uncle and this needs to end now ,it is his time to suffer now. I feel much better now knowing that I have you, Sam and Jason on my side just like old times.

Jason it is so good to see you again I say as I we do our secret handshake. Nia do you remember me now? Yes Jason I remember everything including all the mischief our group got up to. Let’s have a seat we have lots of work to do Roy says. I gave Jason the letter and the will to read while I hold Nia’s hand for comfort. Roy and Nia our first step is to take your fathers will to the court then I will send a letter to your uncle stating he needs to give back all that he has taken from you but if he does not want to give it back he will get his own team of lawyers to state that you are incapable of handling the business due to your memory loss. Nia at this point we will need to bring Sam to testify in court that according to the will he has the right to take over. That is when we will present the Will in which case the court will immediately rule out your uncle and order him to give ownership back to Sam. This should only take one month so in the meantime I suggest you meet Sam in case we need him.
