Darius shot Calian a deadly glare.

Rune's body exploded with power. He had no intention of letting them catch him right now. He ripped up a chunk of earth and hurled it at Calian before moving on Darius with blinding speed. His body was breaking under the strain of his own power, but at the same time, he could feel his limits expanding. Inching closer toward an awakening.

He swung down hard with his greatsword, Shifting his grip and transitioning into another overhead swing. Two waves of kinetic force shot toward Darius, with the second one landing a hit. He moved in for the kill, only to feel a sense of danger at his back.
