Characters: Antoinette and Asantewaa
Antoinette meets an old school friend Asantewaa who poisons her mind against Ruth and her family.....
Asantewaa: Ooooh my God who am I seeing? Is this not our own Antoinette the book worm? (She asks herself as she approaches Antoinette)
Antoinette: Hey my goodness Agyeiwaa where have you been all this while?
Agyeiwaa: My sister I've been around oooh. After school I had to move on and further my studies.
Antoinette: That really sounds great anyway. But seriously you have really grown fat oooh. So what do you do for now?
Agyeiwaa: I'm into entrepreneurial business.
Antoinette: Really!!!! This is so awesome. You have really made it. See how fine you are looking.
Agyeiwaa: My sister it's all by the grace of God oooh. I believe you are also not doing bad. You were one of the brightest students at school. At a point you were teaching the likes of Ernestine, Rose, Ruth and many others...
Antoinette: Hmmmm (She soberly laments) life hasn't treated me fairly my sister. Things became very rough for me until I met Ruth.
Agyeiwaa: Yeah talking about Ruth where is she?
Antoinette: We are indeed in a small world my dear. You won't believe Ruth is now married to a very renowned rich estate developer.
Agyeiwaa: You don't mean it. How is this possible? Back at school you were the one helping her so how come you now depend on her for survival? (She asks with much of a surprise on her face)
Antoinette: Yeah. I stay with them. I've been helping them small small. She even has a son.
Agyeiwaa: Really!!! This is so surprising...
Antoinette: Yeah my sister, her son has been operated upon so she asked me to get some stuff from the market for her. She's even at home.
Agyeiwaa: What insolence!!!! This is very pathetic and you don't even see anything wrong with it. Are you really thinking straight? I am very sad for you my sister. (She laments hmmmmn)
Antoinette: But what is wrong with that they family has been very supportive. They gave me shelter and food what again haven't they done?
Agyeiwaa: So can't you see she's on the verge of enslaving you?
Antoinette: How do you mean?
Agyeiwaa: You were very clever back at school. I don't want you to be clueless on this matter.
Antoinette: Can you please go straight to the point? I have to get to the market and get some foodstuffs to prepare Wisdoms lunch.
Agyeiwaa: Why do you have a son? (She inquisitively asks)
Antoinette: Oh no...(She smiles)
Agyeiwaa: Then who???
Antoinette: Oh Wisdom is Ruth's son. He's very dear to my heart.
Agyeiwaa: Hahahah just look at her. What is wrong with your mind?
Antoinette: How do you mean?
Agyeiwaa: She took you to her house, made you a nanny, a cook and now a messenger. Think!!!! (She confuses Antoinette the more) There's something wrong somewhere.
Antoinette: Yeah.... Its like you are making some sense oooh my sister.
Agyeiwaa: It's good you are now thinking. (She becomes confused)
Antoinette: But....
Agyeiwaa: But what!!!!!! (She yells at Antoinette and frowns her face)
Antoinette: She promised she'll talk to her husband on my behalf to help me secure a job at his office.
Agyeiwaa: And when was that?
Antoinette: Eeeeeerh it's more than a month now.
Agyeiwaa: Just imagine for how long will she be talking to her husband on your behalf for a common job?
Antoinette: You are right my sister ooh. So what should I do?
Agyeiwaa: You are now talking sense. You see, now that you are in her house this is the best time to pay her back.
Antoinette: Payback!!!! How???
Agyeiwaa: Have you forgotten you laid your chances for her back at school?
Antoinette: Yeah I know I did a lot for her but it was all from my heart. I wanted the best.
Agyeiwaa: And this is the time for your harvest. Have a deep thought.
Antoinette: So you mean...
Agyeiwaa: Use what you have to gain what you desire most. You are known to be a smart lady even at school. Now that you are broke, find a better way to milk Ruth and her dry.
Antoinette: I know what to do my sister don't worry. What is my name?
Agyeiwaa: Antoinette.... The campus shaker..... (The both burst into laughter) I remember when you used to shake the whole camps back at school....
Antoinette: Those days are gone.....(She laughs) I think I should be get going. I have to get to the market and get some foodstuffs.
Agyeiwaa: Alright my dear but you have to act fast about it. There's no time to waste. Make sure you do a clean job remember no traces.
Antoinette: Thanks for your advice my dear. Leave the rest for me. Have a nice day. Can I have your number just in case....
Agyeiwaa: Yeah sure..... Let me give you my business card.....(She hands over her business card to Antoinette)
