Bedroom Night

Characters: Ruth and Antoinette

Alex converses with Ruth in the bedroom.

Alex: Honey looking at our son's situation, he can't go to school tomorrow so I will want you to stay back home and take care of him and also help him take his drugs well.

Ruth: But honey Antoinette is at home so she can equally take good care of him for us.

Alex: Listen to yourself. Antoinette!!!! Is she not the same person we left in care our son? What could she do? Look at the amount I've just lost due to her carelessness.

Ruth: Honey please it was a mere accident and she has apologized on that. What else can we do? We don't have to go over this again.

Alex: I want you to understand the saying that "Once bitten twice shy." Have the interest of your son at heart.

Ruth: Honey are you by any chance saying I don't care about my son?

Alex: I don't want us to take chances. Please let's not drag this issue far. Stay back and take care of our son. He needs your attention now.

Ruth: I've heard you my husband. There's no need arguing over this. He's our son and if you say so, I'll do just that. I love.

Alex: And I love you more..... (They all smile and get to bed)
