Alex's Office

Alex returns to the office after lunch break.

Alex: Alice.....

Alice: Sir... Welcome sir.

Alex: Thank you. Did anyone come to look for me?

Alice: No sir.

Alex: Alright. Are u done with the files?

Alice: Yes please.

Alex: Okay put them together and let me have it.

Alice arranges the files quickly. She stretches to hand it over to her boss (Alex). The files fall from her hand.

Alice: I'm sorry sir. (Worry draws all over her face)

Alex leaves her and walks into his office. Alice later knocks at his door.

Alex: Who is there?

Alice: It's me sir. I'm done with the files.

Alex: Come in

Alice opened the door with caution and closes gently.

Alice: Excuse me sir

Alex: Come on, come forward. (He talks to her diplomatically)

Alice: Sorry for what happened (She points back with a disturbing look on the face)

Alex: Hey!!! Snap out of it. It's one of those things. Now let me have the file.

Alice: Okay. Sure.

Alex: Alright I'll go through it and get back to u later. Eeeerm Alice...

Alice: Sir

Alex: Were u able to send the details to the address I gave u?

Alice: Yes please!!! I've done exactly as you instructed.

Alex: Alright you can leave now. I'll get back to you later when I'm done.

Alice: Thank you.

Alex goes through the file and appends his signature for approval. He calls the secretary to his office.

Alice: Excuse me sir, you called. (She puts her hands behind her back)

Alex: Eeeerm yes I called you. I'm done going through the files and I've signed. You really did a good job on this one. Well done. (He smiles as he commends Alice)

Alice: It's my pleasure sir.

Alex receives a phone call from the business associates.

Business associate: Hi Mr. Alex....

Alex: Hello Sir.....

Business associate: We have received the mail and all the necessary details and I must tell you, we are convinced your company is very competent to do this work.

Alex: Sure sir. That's our hallmark. Our credibility is very important to us.

Alice turns to look at Alex and smiles.

Business associate: Tender has been approved.

Alex: Alright.....

Business associate: You will receive an e-mail tomorrow by noon. Thank u.

Alex: You are welcome. It's been nice doing business with u.

Alex exclaims loudly. Alice watched him quietly.

Alex: Alice.... (He laughs as he mentions her name...hahaha) we won the contract.

Alice: Wow!!! (She giggles in jubilation) that sounds so great.

Alex: Hey!!!! Alice (With his teeth showing with smiles) do u know something?

Alice: No sir....(She answered with smiles on her face)

Alex: This calls for a celebration. We've closed. Put everything together and let's go and have a drink.

Alice: Sir.... (With surprise on her face)

Alex: No!!!!! (He refutes shaking his index finger) There's no time for excuses. Let's go.

Alice: Okay sir. Let me put my documents and other stuff together. (She runs out with joy)

They move and drove to a drinking spot.
