The plot set by the game masters semms to be changing its course pretty slowly. Why the need when the game should have ended a long time ago?

Adam had managed to survive until the end of the first trial. It ended with him breaking into tears while 'watching' a 'Soap Opera'. In the end, he couldn't bear the overwhelming emotions welling in his heart and the buzzing and sizzling pain that he felt his brain being toasted like barbecue.

"That bastard! My brain is already toast and my heart aches. Why does things I'm not supposed to face keep coming. I'm so unfortunately!" Adam yelled in fury as he sweats profusely. He bent his body over while holding his knees, trying to catch his breath like he just ran a marathon. He was exhausted, but he didn't dare sit. The fear he felt whenever he thought about that mysterious man was out of the world.
