The drive between Hong Kong and Macau took roughly an hour. Thanks to the relatively new bridge that had opened between the two cities, travel was a lot easier, but it was still a tiring trip.

In many Asian countries, Lunar New Year was more important than the normal new year celebrated around the world, and for businesses, it was the best time to make money, so they had to take advantage of the opportunity.
