Owen Bertram and Glenn Mitchell were alone in the carriage when Owen finally asked, "The Dragon and Snake List is over, what are your plans, Brother Mitchell? If you have none, why not return to the Summit Metropolitan Office? Maria and Tabitha are both quite lonely, they could use some company."

Glenn was sullen. He, who was once the most promising figure from an impoverished background, had sought to serve the Lord. His final humiliation came from the fact that he was taken in only because of his sister's influence.
