Chapter 4 - training and hunting

In a certain house's backyard, a little kid was fighting against another kid, these kids were of course Rex and Lucifer,

"You both are doing great but it needs a few improvements, Rex don't focus only on the weapon of the enemy focus on the enemy as well, and don't always dodge try to go on the offensive, also Lucifer your form's a mess try to correct it"

James said while spectating the two,

"Mess my a*s if his form's a mess how is he beating me to a bloody pulp" rex retorted while he dodged an attack from Lucifer,

"Because your timings crap big bro "

Lucifer said while he thrust his sword forward, the sword hit rex and he fell,

" Lucifer wins "

James said while Lucifer gestured his hand for rex to take and get up which rex took,

"You are getting good little brother I can already see girls making a fan club for you, and I am damn jealous "

Rex said with a smile,

"Ok that's enough both of you, I have something for both of you," James said and went somewhere to get something

It had already been two years since their little training section in the training hall and Lucifer had been growing fabulously, he was very close to reaching martial novice,

James came back with a human-shaped doll that had no features and was completely white,

"This is a training dummy that is used by people to train till martial commander stage, it

Has four stages easy, medium, hard, and very hard if you can beat it in the medium stage at or under the age of thirteen you will be able to get into the top four middle schools in Rio, and if you beat it at hard they will beg you to enter their school "

James said and the continued to talk

"Remember the age of pre-growth is between 13 to 18 and the real growth starts at 18, now move your as*s's and get to training first up is rex "

Rex went in front of the doll and James activated the easy mode rex then rushed towards the doll and the doll also rushed towards him then he did a diagonal slash, but the doll dodged it and did a downward horizontal slash, he blocked it with his sword and was forced to move a few steps back just then the doll thrust it's sword forward and it hit his abdomen, rex rolled on the ground in pain and clutched his abdomen.

"Well it can be helped you are still not a martial novice so it's alright next Lucifer you try," James said

With that said, Lucifer got in front of the doll, and once again James activated the doll in easy mode

"Demon style first form, demon stinger"

Lucifer executed a demon stinger and thrust his sword forward but the doll stepped backward and dodged the sword and then it did an upward horizontal swing and its sword hit Lucifer's sword and he was left wide open.

This time it was the doll's time to thrust forward and Lucifer's time to dodge to the left, then the doll swung its sword leftward, and Lucifer's shirt got torn even though the sword was made of wood,

"Oh come on! I just bought this yesterday "

He screamed, but his scream fell on the deaf ears of the doll and it did a downward diagonal swing, and Lucifer screamed in pain and fell,

"That's enough you both did great you need to at least be sat peak of your body and ready to breakthrough to martial novice if you want to defeat it in easy mode"

James said and then they went into the house to get some rest.

One year later in a forest, a kid was running for his life while five wild boars were chasing the kid

The kid looked to be right year's old with dashing white hair and red pupils the kid was

Of course, Lucifer who had gotten permission to go to the forest to train after practically begging for permission and showing the cutest face he could to his parents.

"OH COME ON WHAT DID DO TO YOU STOP CHASING ME!!!"

He screamed and continued

"I ADMIT I KILLED SOME OF YOUR BRETHREN WHILE THEY WERE TAKING A PISS BUT STILL I ONLY KILLED THREE OF THEM I SWEAR ON THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS!!!"

While he was screaming he saw a tree on which he could climb and rushed towards it and hurriedly started climbing after he had climbed enough he sat on a branch of the tree

"HAHAHA TRY TO CATCH ME NOW OH SORRY YOU CAN'T BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CLIMB NOOBS!!!"

The wild boars were enraged but they couldn't do anything so after half an hour they went on their way

"HAHAHA THAT'S RIGHT YOU BETTER RUN OR I WILL CUT YOUR HEADS AND TAKE IT AS A TROPHY!!!"

After he screamed to his heart's content he sat down and started absorbing the cores of the beasts he had killed,

"I will be nine in eight months I should form by mana core and get into martial apprentice stage soon, hmm maybe next month"

After he said so he went down the tree and got out of the outer forest circle and was greeted by the best scenery he had ever seen, he could see the entire city and its features from above the hill he was on, he sat beside a tree and closed his eyes, as beasts didn't go out of the outer circle of the forest he slept peacefully.
