Chapter 24 - the dragon god rises

The continent of aurora was where dragons lurk, it was their home after they had migrated from their homeworld

The dragons had a government just like the humans except it consisted of the seven great dragon clans and the leading clan

In total it was controlled by these seven dragon clan lords and the dragon king or queen

Their countries looked just like humans in mid-Europe

(A few days before Lucifer was born in the world of tetra in the continent of aurora In a country called Lila of the continent aurora)

In one of the castles owned by the Kiara clan, the screams of a woman could be heard from inside the castle

Finally when the screams settled a man entered the room from where the screams were coming

The man looked to be in his twenties with red hair and red eyes with fair skin

He looked at a beautiful woman who was on a bed lying down she had the same features as him red eyes, red hair, and fair skin, and beside her was a newborn baby

The maid who had done the delivering bowed to the man and showed herself out of the room

The man came near the baby and the mother and looked at them with tear-filled eyes

The woman and the man stared at each other for a while the woman was exhausted and there were black circles under her eyes but she still looked very beautiful

The woman smiled and said to the man,

"Look grey his eyes look like yours"

Grey smiled and said,

"Heh, he looks like he will become a man who will protect his family and loved ones, he will be a strong-willed brat let's name him William "

The woman smiled and nodded

That day marked the rise of the man previously known as dragon God

5 years later

In the forest near the country of Lila a kid with red hair and red eyes was seen hunting For alligators near the swamp area

He smiled and thrust his fist forward to kill the damn thing and it fell

The kid sighed in relief and started grilling the alligator's meat with the fire he created

While munching the meat of the alligator he thought to himself,

'It's been five years since I came to this planet I have learned a lot about society and my family, I am part of the Kiara clan's main family and my father is a duke in the Kiara clan one of the highest positions, I have a big brother who's name is Liam kain and he is eight year's old, my mother's name is Kaile kain and fathers name is grey kain'

He smiled to himself,

'Huh I don't know which god took pity on me, but I will be damn sure to live it to the fullest who gives a damn about status I just want to fight and get stronger, but more than that this time I won't die as a virgin'

William munched on the meat of the alligator and thought about his future,

In the evening he returned home and with sneaky steps made his way to his room but then he heard a sound which gave him a heart attack,

"And where do you think you are going?"

He turned back to look at Kaile his mother who had her hands on her waist and with a face of a demon standing behind him

He did what any cute child would do, he went to his mother looked at her with puppy eyes, and hugged her, he looked to be on the verge of tears, then he said,

"I am sorry"

Those three words were a weapon that saved many countless children from their mothers, and it didn't seem like they would be outdated anytime soon

Kaile was conflicted about what to do one side of her wanted to scold him while the other wanted to hug him and say it's okay,

But at the end of the day, all mothers are the same they love their children she hugged him and said it's okay

William sighed in relief and went to his room, he changed his clothes to a red shirt and blue pants he was then called by his mother

When he reached the dining hall he saw that his mother, father, and brother were sitting around the rectangle dining table

His father looked at him with a serious face and gestured for him to sit then he said,

"William you should know by now that you are special"

William knew that because he formed his mana core just a few months back, even though dragons were close to mana more than humans this was unnatural even among dragons so he knew that he was special and said,

"Yes father"

His father sighed in relief seeing his kid understand the gravity of the situation he then said,

"Good, the clan leader of the Kiara clan has arranged for his daughter who is seven years old to be married to you"

William widened his eyes and stood up he then shouted,

"This isn't fair! I want to marry someone who I truly love so why should I marry someone who I don't! What about my consent!"

They were all surprised at his reaction but grey who was the first one to calm down said,

"I am sorry William I truly am but please listen to me"

William calmed down and sat on his chair and said with a serious face,

"I know you wouldn't do this if it weren't serious so tell me what happened"

Grey smiled to see his kid grow up so fast, he then said,

"One of the other main clans is trying to get the position of the clan head by marrying the only daughter of the clan head, but they weren't always the bright ones, they always wanted to kill the humans and take the earth for themselves, the clan head knows this and wants to prevent it so he contacted me his best friend "

Grey sighed with a grim face, while William was thinking about what happened in his previous life, he wanted to prevent that from happening he bit his lower lips and said,

"Fine what do I gotta do"

This put a smile on grey's face and he immediately started explaining,

"Good! Then you will have to challenge the other candidate for a dungeon duel happening five years from now until then train hard and make yourself more powerful"

With that the discussion came to an end William went to his room and started thinking to himself about what will happen in the future, he fell asleep after some time.
