Raya's POV

Phillip was gone now but I didn't feel any different after his death. It felt like nothing had changed and I did everything to shake off the pangs of guilt that overwhelmed me when I saw the women of Phillip's harem grieving. "I did this", I thought. "I killed him."

I was beginning to ask myself if I really thought this whole thing through. Now that Phillip was gone, what would become of me? What would happen to all the alpha's women that were accommodated inside the estate?

There was no way we could go back to our families. Even if they accepted us, which they probably wouldn't, we couldn't just go back to living like every other person.

Another thing I didn't think about was who would succeed Phillip now that he was gone. Phillip had made sure that no woman conceived by him, so there were lots of women and no wolf pups. "What have I done?" I thought as I looked at all the mourning women in the harem.
