Chapter 29 CHAPTER
“Honey, baby.” I immediately run towards her and I scooped her in my arms and let out the cry I’ve been holding back.
“Who was that mommy?” her sweet angel voice made me hug her petite body tightly but gently.
I reached for the strands of her brown hair that falls from her face and tucked it behind her ear. “He’s my boss sweetheart.” I tell her. and your dad. “Have you eaten your breakfast baby?”
“Yes mommy.” She tells me as she wraps her small arms around my neck and I lifted her carrying upstairs. But I abruptly stopped when I heard mom’s voice.
“Are you okay now, Yoo-Mi?” she stepped out of the kitchen holding a glass of water.
“I’m fine mom.”
“He called me last night, he said you were sick.” She paused. “When will you tell him about—“
“Mom!” I looked at Honey and I saw her eyes bulge, I apologized for raising my voice. “Mom, I’ll talk to you later.”
