Comforting

"Mom, I hope you'll be alright... and dad... I hope you're in a paradice. I hope you're living your best life in heaven and I hope you'll always remember your family..."

She started crying harder and I felt sad for her. I watched her cry and I really wanter to confort her, I don't why.

Se-Ri's POV

I broke down in tears. I was having a breakdown in a fucking forest full of nothing, great.

I remembered my mom who was in a critical condition in the hospital with my brother.

I remembered Namjoon and I don't even know where he is right now.

I remembered Dr. Park, and how he held me in one place by force and almost raped me.

I remembered Jungkook, who rushed to my side and saved me yesterday.

I cried even harder knowing that all of this is my fault. All of this happened because of me.

Namjoon wouldn't be alone right now.

Jungkook wouldn't need to run for his life, because Dr. Park is basically stalking him.

And maybe mom would be in a better condition if I had visited her a month ago.

I was trapped in these stupid thoughts that haunted me.

I looked at the river and thought to myself:

What if I jump from here.

What if I end my suffering here and now.

What if I just let go.

I started reaching for the edge of the railing.

My hands were placed on the edge.

I looked at the sky, that was now without a sun to brighten it up. Instead of a bright sun, I saw the moon.

A tear started rolling down my cheeks as I climbed on top of the railing.

Jungkook's POV

I watched her cry for a few minutes, but after that she got up and looked at the river and the sky.

She wiped her tears of her face and grabbed the edge of the railing.

I widened my eyes when she suddenly climbed on top of it.

"No, no, no, you can't! Stop!" I thought to myself.

I started running torwards her as she leaned torwards the edge.

"STOP!" I yelled.

She gasped and looked at me, but it was too late, when she fell into the water.

"NO!" I shouted and jumped in the water after her.

I tried to look for her in the water but it was really blurry in the water. It was then, when I saw a small figure sinking to the depths of the water under me.

I reached for her but couldn't grab her hand on my first try.

I tried to grab her hand again and succeeded. After I grabbed her hand, I swam to the surface and checked if she was breathing... but she wasn't. I felt a tear on my cheeks as I watched the lifeless body of Se-Ri in my arms.

I got out of the water and checked her pulse.

"Oh my god! She has a pulse!" I yelled.

I started to do CPR on her and after a while of doing it, she started to caugh water.

"What... happened... *cough* ...Jungkook?" She asked with a shaky voice.

"I saved you..." I said as I tried to hold my tears from flowing.

"Wha...t?" She said in a confused tone.

"I saved you..." I repeated but this time I had tears flowing on my cheeks...
