CHAPTER TWO

<p>Both Zavid and Celestina sat in the car opposite sides while the driver drove them home. He looked at her and she looked lost in her own world. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>He would have liked her if she wasn't so much of a Golddigger like his siblings just maybe, then he turned his head away.In the car, Celestina looked lost in her thoughts, she didn't know whether to cry or shout out to God for being unfair. <br/><br/><br/>To begin with an abusive And neglected home and now I'm abusive husband.' <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"Sir, Madam please with reached our destination."<br/>Both Celestina and David I lighted and entered the mansion through the doors. <br/><br/><br/><br/>She looked around and saw every where was silent, quiet and in order with the atmosphere feeling lonely. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Suddenly, Zavid grabbed her by her hand then put her upstairs to the bedroom. When he reached there he threw her into the bed. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>She was shaken by his sudden change of attitude and just laid there in shock. Then he laid on her blocking her from escaping and started to forcefully kissed her as tears sprung out of her eyes like waterfalls while she resisted his touch. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>When he saw his condition he felt satisfied also he thought. He got off her and threw her off the bed, her head hit the drawer creating a wound he didn't notice.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"This is how everyday of your life is gonna be and also leave my room I don't want to see your disgusting face any longer."<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>With that he turned straight to the bathroom leaving her sprawled on the ground. She slowly got up and shook her head thinking to herself why she didn't runaway when she had a chance from this marriage, delusional she was thinking she could make things work. She laughed mockingly to herself. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Today she saw why the paps and netizens called him the devil because he really is one.<br/>She walked towards the closet and picked a large T-shirt as well as some shorts. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>She quickly changed herself while he was in the bathroom, dressed her wound and quietly slipped in the balcony. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>She gazed at the stars while tears streaked quietly down her cheeks until she fell asleep with the cold night as her companion.<br/><br/><br/><br/>He came out of the bathroom and noticed that there was no sign of her and he heaved a sign of relief but his chest felt uncomfortable.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"Maybe because of today's activities." He thought to himself as he forced himself to sleep but couldn't help wondering where she was forgetting that all the guest rooms were locked and only his room was open. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>That night threatened to be a sleepless night for the two but what they didn't know was that the wheels of fate had already began to turn.<br/><br/><br/><br/>**************************************************<br/>"Cling cling cling"<br/>The alarm loudly rang waking him up from his sleep. He checked the time 6 AM and quickly got up to prepare for his day. <br/><br/><br/>He took his bath and wash his Armani suits it's OK his tie after contemplating on which one after he was done he sprayed his cologne and left the room.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>She felt the sun rays on her face and heard the birds chipping, her butterfly eyelashes fluttered as she opened her eyes.<br/><br/><br/><br/>She use her hand to block the sun rays from hits in her face as she gently got up from the floor where she slept and stretched her body.<br/><br/><br/>She left the balcony and looked inside the room noticing Zavid's absence she signed a breath of relief. She quickly entered the bathroom and did her business. She left the bathroom wrapped in a towel and walked towards the dressing closet.<br/><br/><br/><br/>She wore a body comb straight dress that reached her mid tight and paired it with a pair of Balenciagas heels.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>She applied some concealer to hide the bruise on her for head and wrist then went down the stairs. She felt so happy that David had not gone to work yet and she failed to notice those pair of angry black eyes that stared at her in fury.<br/><br/><br/><br/>It was like she was in her own world not noticing what was around her but happiness was short-lived.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Thankfully she was the only one at home she decided to wear that short attire due to the hot weather condition. She felt someone drilling holes into her head as she descended down the stairs she lifted her eyes and saw fury that was so suffocating in his eyes that made it so hard for her to breathe.<br/><br/><br/><br/>He walked towards her and held her down to hand forcefully drag your head downstairs. "<br/>Where are you going looking like a whore?" he shouted at her face. <br/><br/><br/>"I'm not going anyway, I want this because the weather was hot you are just misunderstanding me" she tried to defend herself as well as calm him down by his anger just increased by a notch.<br/><br/><br/>"I never knew you to be a liar" He yelled disgusted by her.<br/><br/><br/>"You don't even know me" she yelled back.<br/>"What have I ever done to you? Since yesterday you've made it an aim to hurt me repeatedly. I'm also innocent I didn't want to marry you, I never understood why you were called a devil but now I do because you are one and..."<br/>Before she could complete her sentence Zavid slapped her and she fell down.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"Never ever talk to me like that again I am your husband and you will show me that respect. Who even told you that you have the rights in this house. You lost your right the day your dad sold you to me." Zavid shouted as she laid sprawled on the floor shedding pearls of tears.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"From this day henceforth you are going to be the maid of this house and you're going to call me Sir whenever you see me do you understand?"<br/>"Yes"<br/>She answered in a little tune while sniffing quietly.<br/>"Yes,what?"<br/>" yes sir"<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"Good you should know your place by now"<br/>With that he took his briefcase and left the house.<br/>Once he left she slowly got up from the ground. She placed her hands in her head and scream so loudly that tears streamed down as she cried.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Sometimes she felt it was all too much. What wrong had I done in my previous life she questioned God. <br/><br/><br/><br/>She also feels like in the hell LiFe at times but always gave herself a boost that one day all of this will end and she will soon be free. But now she realizes that's all just fantasies, her wishful thinking.<br/><br/><br/>Today she learns that there's a bitter of truth that there's a difference between a dream and reality. Happily ever after was never written in her books. <br/><br/><br/><br/>Now she knew she couldn't back down at this point. She always reminded herself that she became one of the authors with the Best selling books without anyone's help. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>She wrote five books without anyone's help and published it. She's gonna be one of the best doctors the world has ever known without anyone's help. And she will create a name for herself and put down those so look down on her in shame.<br/><br/><br/><br/>She got up from the ground and wiped her tears away and whispered the words she always said herself.<br/><br/><br/>"I'm strong, I'm powerful and I will never be broken."<br/><br/><br/>Because it's always said a strong person is someone who never gives up no matter how much to fall down, they always gets up and raise again. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>And that's who she is, that's what defines her. She's a strong character who never gives up after trying again and again.<br/><br/><br/>She's like a bird whose wings are broken but never gives up on learning how to fly no matter how much she falls she always gets up. And she'll take that's broken wings and burn across the sky. Everything she did she was told, stay in your place better seen and not heard that's all she knew.<br/><br/><br/>But she knew she couldn't starts to crumble no matter how much they try to break her. She was a star and will be. She was saying the brightest when the time was right. <br/><br/><br/><br/>So bright that one would want to get close but cannot. Everyone was strong in their own way and so was she.<br/><br/><br/><br/>She got up and let's clean the whole house from top to bottom after all it wasn't the first time she had done something like that.<br/><br/><br/><br/>By 11 AM she was done and prepared something small for herself to eat, changed her clothes and went to her afternoon classes not before cooking Zavid's meal and placed it in the microwave. By 12:30 noon she left the house.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/></p>
