She Cries With The Rain

The darkest clouds covered the sky

As little birds run for shelter for they can't fly.

Though in the midst of the street,

There's a girl who look up as she sit.

Extending her arms as thunder rolls

After the lightning hit the ground like balls.

Fear isn't visible in her eyes

Though the wind became rough and cold as ice.

And as the rain falls from the sky,

The girl showed a smile as she sigh.

Finally, the girl gave up the tears she hold

Embraced her legs to fight the cold.

While feeling the rain, the girl utter a word

Please, let it rain when I'm hurt, dear lord.

For I have no one to hold on to

Except for this cold rain and you.
