Search for the Corrupted Legion

"The Monarch isn't always pleased with us watchers." They say while looking back up at us.

The Monarch? I've not heard anything about this just yet so this is definitely new information.

"So you were just abandoned." I reply while thinking.

To just be abandoned by the one you work for is crazy, but I wouldn't want to leave behind my members at all. They don't need to suffer, I would rather suffer myself before my members do.

But it gets me a bit fired up to meet this damn Monarch.

"Yeah. Doesn't matter now though." The Watcher says while taking its mask off.

Long green hair came flowing out as they took off the mask and the hood, followed by a sad look upon the man's face. He also had the same kind of eyes as Rika and the other watcher, Jion.

They all must be from the same world after all, but why hunt me?

"Just revealing your face?" Kallista questions with confusion in her tone.

"I have no need to hide it, I've already been abandoned by the Monarch." The Watcher Answers while taking a seat.

So is that really the reason they hide their faces or is there more to it? I'm confused, but at least I'm getting bits and pieces of what's going on.

"Are you an enemy or not?" Rika asks with an annoyed tone.

"No. You intend to wipe away the cruel beings who made everything this way, so go ahead." The Watcher responds with a serious tone.

"Do you have a name?" I ask before moving onward.

"Eiji." The Watcher Answers with a calm and collected tone.

Eiji, I'll remember that name. At least we know of this one's intentions so far, that counts for something.

"Good luck." I say while walking past him.

"You as well." He replies with a sincere tone.

We began to venture further into this cavern after our encounter with the abandoned watcher, it has been quite interesting to see how everything is here.

It's terrible but it does spark my curiosity more and more as we go along.

"Do you sense anything Rika?" I ask while we walk through tunnel.

"Not yet, but I think we're getting close." She answers while cracking her knuckles.

Seems she's excited to see this damn gate boss, wish I could say the same. I'm not sure what to expect of this thing, since it's got to be quite powerful.

Especially to have a whole world dedicated to it, that's got to be quite the power to have. Though I'm wondering how these bosses came to be, especially if they are in charge of these world's.

What if they were a previous system user too?

"Hey Sevarian, have you ever thought about what you'll do if you can't save your world?" Kallista asks while walking besides me.

"I have not. I guess I'd just have to fight for survival all the time or maybe try to help another world if possible." I respond with an honest answer.

I never gave much thought as to what I'd do if that scenario occured but it's definitely something I have to think about here and there. There's no guarantee that I'll be able to stop every gate or even the Monarch as it's called.

Though I'm not even sure I'd be alive if that was the case. Or maybe it'd be the last thing I went through.

Everything is capable of happening, regardless of the person. Even if I was able to save the world, No guarantee is made that more of these things won't come.

Just going off of how things seem already, but everything was all so sudden. The world going into chaos, these beings showing up, me getting this system. It was all so fast and now I'm here.

I want to save my world for so many reasons but I'm not even sure it'll be possible, who knows though.

I've got some strong companions by my side at the moment and with them it might just be possible to save everyone.

The world still has a chance at the moment, unless the other system users kill everyone off. I'm hoping that won't be the case.

"Sev!" Kallista shouts to get my attention.

"Yes?!?" I reply with a bit of confusion.

"You aren't responding to anything we're saying." Kallista says while both her and Rika stare at me.

"I was just lost in thought." I Respond while rubbing my head.

These thoughts go crazy all the time now, I just can't figure it out. So many questions, so many thoughts that go through my mind.

It's all a lot to deal with on a daily basis.

"Are you ready to fight this boss?" Kallista asks with a serious tone.

"Yeah." I answer while pondering that thought.

I might be strong, but am I strong enough to defeat the first gate boss? This could prove to be a challenge, or it could prove to be easy.

But I doubt it'll be easy since gate bosses are always hard. Shit, I also don't know a damn thing about the boss.

Nothing about it's power, skills, or how it attacks. I've hardly known much about any of these enemies so far, but I know it's possible to defeat them all.

Even without knowing the patterns of each enemy, or any of the abilities they possess.

"Let's hope so. I know I can handle it." Kallista says with confidence.

Glad someone has sheer confidence to depend on, it only got me so far for awhile. Mostly when this all first happened. Though it's crazy to think about how far I've come in such a short period of time, especially with my stats.

I've become powerful in some way or another without realizing it. All my skills have been Leveling up, along with my stats going up with each level up I get.

Well, with all the points I get from leveling up.

"Who dares disturb me?" An angry demonic voice asks as it echoes around us.
