Chapter 28- Questions

Sebastien's POV.

I stared at her face trying to guess her reaction, she had a blank expression on her face when I told her she was my soul partner, was she too shocked?, Did she hate the idea?, What was she thinking about right now?, Was she going to stay away from me?, Did humans feel different?, I asked lot of questions while staring at her face and she didn't say a word for about 10 minutes, I started getting impatient, I really needed a reaction from her.

"Lyn and Gabriel will be back soon." I told her.

"Oh." She nodded.

"Can I at least know how I feel about what I told you, " I paused catching my breath, I didn't know how to react around her, since I couldn't read her mind "you said you did your research, did you know Vampires have soulmates?" I asked.

"I'm sorry for blanking out, I'm just shocked that's all." She said softly.

"And yes I did my research, I saw it, though I was told it's rare." She added.

"Yeah it is, Tractus was the first with a soulmate." I said sitting down close to her, she raised her head and stared at me then she smiled.

"So how do you feel about me?" I asked.

"Well you know I like you." She replied and I smiled.

"Well, I'm happy to hear that, I wanted to tell you this information about you being my soulmate when we go on a date, but lots of things have been happening, and I had to tell you." I said.

"It's okay, I thought you wouldn't come for me for a while, I lost hope for a while, but you came." She said softly.

I stilled, she thought I wouldn't come, I really want to show how much my feelings for her was intense and I wouldn't abandon her that way.

"I wouldn't leave you, it took time to reach you, because of the spell he made the witch and I couldn't scent you easily, probably because of the spell." I said.

"But I'm sorry I came late, I'll come faster if there's a next time." I added, her eyes widened and I scoffed softly.

"Well I have enemies, and sooner or later, people will know what you are to me." I said and she nodded.

"I should not feel normal about this, but everything you do, which isn't real human like, I keep feeling okay about it, and it just makes my feelings for you intensify, and I think I understand it better now you told me, I'm your soulmate." She said with a smile.

"I'm glad you don't want to run away." I said.

"Oh well, running can't change anything can It?" She asked me and I laughed.

"Yes it can't, I'm not sure I'll stay away from you, if you did." I said.

"Well, she needs to be treated, can you both stop being lovey dovey." I turned when Lyn walked in, and Raina smiled, Gabriel just raised his brows at me and I rolled my eyes at him.
