Chapter 10- Back to the office.

Sebastien's POV.

The trip last week was so annoying, but I had to travel, I solved the issue my uncle brought up with the DeMontes with Gabriel's help.

A beautiful heart shaped face with freckles came into my mind. "Raina" she was always in my thoughts, my source of comfort, last week was a little bearable when I saw her face and thought of her.

When I was at the verge of loosing it or snapping when Gabriel and I couldn't find any proof at first, I thought of her and seeing her face and thinking about her, gave me a sort of comfort I didn't understand.

"Maybe, it's because she's my soul partner". I mused, who would have thought that one day Sebastien Edmondo will have a soul partner, and who would've thought that this mate will be the comfort or peace I've been searching for, in a while.

I didn't know I'll find it in my soul partner (mate), but I was delighted by the fact that she was my source and reason of comfort.

I thanked the mother silently, she created every vamp with their speciality, but she gave me almost everything, abilities that no vamp ever had and a soul partner.

I hoped she made a decision in my favour. Hope she decided to talk to me after she thought it through, I hope she kept working at the company, I was going to tell her what she was to me.

Gabriel adviced me to do it fast, so she won't be in danger, every vampire family had a seer who worked with them and most of them must have seen I had a soul partner and would want to attack her, it was better I tell her that she finding out by herself.

I adjusted my tie, tapping my driver on the back slowly.

"You can stop here Bruno" 

"Yes boss" he parked at the reserved area for the company.

I hated using the main entrance of the company, I didn't need extra attention and I also do this to escape reporters who loitered around the company's main entrance waiting for a chance to see me.

"You can go for a break or something, I'll call you when I need you" I said.

"Thanks boss" he bowed but stopped, I had warned him not to bother with the formalities, his family have worked with mine for one thousand years as drivers and security Vampires, they had an established system that worked security and also driving for other vampire families, but we the Edmondo's has special treatment from the company since the owner and establisher of Malcolm Driving and Security was a family friend. 

"I'm sorry Bas, I'm used to formalities" he smiled slightly lifting up his moustache.

"Well don't use them with me" I answered, 

"you're close enough with me to drop it" I added.

"Sorry Bas" he smiled opening the car door.

"That's better, I like it when you call me Bas, Not Boss" I replied with a laugh.

He entered the car and drove off, I opened the space I kept for a fake elevator and teleported myself to my office.

Sitting down, I brought out my phone and texted Evelyn.

Me: "Is she here?"

Lyn: "Relax, okay".

Me: " I asked a question".

Lyn: " I told you to relax because she wasn't here yet.

........

Lyn:" Oh wait, she's here"

Me: "Better" I was relaxed by the fact that she came back.

I could see the typing notification on, and I wondered what Lyn was typing.

Lyn: "She doesn't look okay though, I wonder what went wrong?".
