"There's nothing to be jealous about." Nicole pulled a chair over and sat down.

Beckham smiled playfully. "Mrs. Hayden, what do you mean by that?"

"I just feel that if he really wants to see her, there's nothing I can do to stop him, and he won't listen to me anyway. So what's the point of being jealous? I might as well just let him go."

"You are too understanding," Beckham said with a faint smile.

Nicole shrugged and said, "What choice do I have? So what if I don't want to be understanding? I can't make a scene to stop him from leaving, can I?"

"Why not? You are Darwin's wife. You have the right to fight for him."

Nicole shook her head and said, "I can't do that, it's too embarrassing."

Plus, even if she fought for him, Darwin would not be on her side.
