Moon coughed as much as her weak body could allow, accompanied by sprinkles of blood all over her face. She internally grimaced as soon as she tasted the blood in her mouth. They doubted she still had blood in her body, considering the amount she already lost in most of her coughing fits. "Is she still alive?" She heard a familiar feminine voice.
Moon wanted to scream at them, but the words couldn't get past her head.
"I don't know." Another familiar voice that belonged to Desmond replied weakly.
You guys shouldn't worry. I am still here —for now, Moon's words echoed in her head, especially the last two words, 'for now,' The thought of not being able to see all of them again made her heart tighten in her chest, well that is if it was still there.
The fact that she had been able to survive the inhuman sickness despite the immeasurable pain and agony still surprised her. The only way she knew she was still alive was whenever she heard the faint voices of her roommates.
