John's POV
My concentration is completely off today. Last night's events keep replaying in my mind. I thought today would be a good day to clear my head, especially with the weather being so bright and clear. But the thought of my uncle's warning—how he'd act if I crossed the line—has thrown everything into chaos. I feel threatened, like I might never become the head of the Solomon family because of Uncle August.
This morning, there's so much work to do, but I can't seem to shake off these thoughts. So, I decided to distract myself by going to the golf course with some friends and acquaintances. But instead of clearing my mind, I'm only obsessing over it more. Every time I hit the ball, it's a disaster—the worst game I've ever played.
I sigh in frustration, annoyed that I can't even play a decent round of golf. But this isn't because I'm not trying; it's the aftermath of last night's party. My uncle's threatening words have left a deep impact on me.
