Chapter Thirty Three

Sarah POV

I got back to my office, I decided to see Rose and update her about the plan. She was very happy when I told her everything that our boss planned, you see Sarah I told you that he is the best option that you got Rose said beaming proudly because her suggestion seemed to be working.

Yeah am glad I listened to you I responded smiling happily. I looked up and silently thanked God, thank you God that you blessed me with good people,people who didn't judge me rather they are willing to help me with my problem. I will call Evans now to set a meeting with him I informed Rose, that's okay I will leave you to your call then Rose said.

I left Rose office space to make the call. I called Evans, he picked on the fifth ring, I know he purposely wasted time before picking the call so that he can start sprouting out his nonsense but am not in for that now. So I just get straight to the point ,to the reason why I called. He accepted to meet me at the place I picked cause I don't trust that guy one bit he is capable of anything.

Third Person POV

Melvin was anxiously waiting for Evans to Call him and give him update cause he knew that today is the deadline that Evans gave Sarah to reply to his demand. Melvin is afraid that if Sarah reply comes out negative that he is doomed because this competition is his only hope of saving his company that is crumbling and he don't want anybody even his wife to know the situation of his company.

He is a man full of pride and he don't need anybody pity. Melvin is aware that if their plan failed to push through, then there is nothing else he can do but to shut down the company and the worst is that the competition is around the corner there is no time for plan B.

45 minutes later Melvin phone started ringing, he checked the caller and Evans is the one calling him, he picked the call, Hello Evans just give me the good news cause if it is bad news I can't guarantee you what I will do to you he threatened Evans. Calm down Melvin is good news no need for you to showcase your thug wannabe personality nobody want to see that now,anyway she want to meet with me this evening cause she have something to give me, so that's why I called to update you Evans explained.

Okay just make sure that lady is not using your brain Melvin pointed out. Nah Sarah don't have it in her to deceive anybody she is doing this because I have something against her if not this will be an impossible task to achieve Evans irritatingly said because Melvin is doubting his capability and he find that insulting. Melvin disconnected the call after he heard what he wanted to hear and now its time to gather the people he will work with.
