"So that this morning's class will all gather in the gymnasium after lunch so be back at 1:30," Mr.De Rossi said, dismissing the class.
"We didn't even go over one subject at a regular school. Are they sure they're preparing us for college? " Isaiah said
"We're literally some of the most powerful beings on the planet, and you're worried about college?" Lia said with a confused 🤨
"What's wrong with having a backup plan?" Isaiah said in defense.
"Whatever, dude, anyways, you're eating lunch with me, right? Of course, you are. Everyone else here hates you." Lia said, laughing.
"That Titus guy threw a fireball at my face. If I let that slide, I would be the punk of the class," Isaiah said.
" I was kidding, but Nah, don't take it to heart. They knew you were justified. They just didn't know how far you would go. I mean, It was just a fireball; something like that is child's play." Lia replied.
"Yea, I guess so," Isaiah said in a low voice.
Isaiah and Lia were the last ones in the cafeteria. Everyone else was already sitting down eating.
"Do they usually have a menu we can Pick from?'' Isaiah asked as they were approaching the front of the kitchen.
"Yea, usually they have like a current type of food for lunch and dinner. Like Chinese, Mexican or Italian. But they'll still cook whatever you ask. Looks like today is Greek Food."
"I really want some nachos, especially if I'm going to fight today," Isaiah said.
Lia turned around and had hearts in her eyes
"What? Is that your favorite food too?" Isaiah asked.
"It is! That's what I usually get on Fridays. Well, almost every Friday." Lia said
"She loves nachos and anime. I'll definitely marry this girl". Isaiah thought to himself
"He loves nachos and anime. I'll definitely marry this boy." Lia thought to herself.
"Two loaded Mexican nachos, please," Lia said to the maid.
[The system is pleased with the hosts' decision. If the host succeeds with marrying the All-Mother. The host will unlock all abilities within the system]
"WHAT!" Isaiah shouted, staring at the screen in shock.
Lia turns around quickly, and everyone in the cafeteria turns to look at Isaiah.
"Are you ok? I just told you they could make them for us. They're so good." Lia says
"Yeah, sorry, I just got excited," Isaiah said, trying to play it off.
"What a weirdo," Titus says, shaking his head at another table
"I'll definitely have to look at that more later," Isaiah says to himself.
Lia and Isaiah found a table both of them could sit at.
"So, are you worried about the fight at all?" Lia asked.
"Yes and no, I've never really used my powers against another person before. I've shadowboxed and experimented with my abilities but never in like an actual confrontation.
"That's ingesting. Have you ever been in any fistfights before?" Lia asked.
Isaiah tries to recall his memory of fighting. Still, he starts to get a slight headache at every confrontation he could think of.
"Strangely enough, I can't remember," Isaiah replied.
"Mhmm, you better not be trying to dodge my question," Lia says, making a face
Isaiah is saved by the bell once the maid arrives with their plate of nachos.
Once she sets the plate down, both Isaiah and Lia's mouth starts watering.
After about 5 minutes of silence due to both inhaling the nachos, Lia finally comes up for air and says.
"If I was honest, every student here will probably whip the floor with you. They've all lived in some pretty dangerous environments, so fighting comes naturally to them." Lia said, whipping her mouth with a napkin
"Yea, I kinda figured, given the atmosphere. But what about you? Does that apply to you too?" Asked Isaiah
"Me Nah, I was a completely normal girl 2 years ago."
"Really!? So you really knew nothing about both this life of magic & monsters, Elites and Psychics. etc. Said Isaiah
"Don't forget about supernatural beings and martial art cultivators. A Cultivator will be our last student here. Then we will complete as the next generation of Kings.
"I thought that we weren't supposed to call the 7, The 7 Kings. Due to their female members. ("also did she just dodge my question") Isaiah said.
"People who aren't in the "Infinity Void" will call them the 7. But everyone in the "IV" knows there are all kings. It makes more sense. I mean, they all rule the current parts of the planet." Lia explained
"Wait, what is the Infinity Void?" Isaiah asked in confusion.
"Your parents really didn't tell you anything. It's a good thing Mr. De Rossi chose me to explain it, or this would be exhausting for anyone else."
Lia continues.
"The Infinity Void is the world within the world. The biggest thing is Most humans don't realize how giant the planet actually is. The terms infinity and void are already complicated. The 7 Kings came up with this phrase to cover everything, every being, organization, and culture. That humans are just simply not aware of. They all have their own ways of staying hidden. Most register themselves to Infinity (The world government) for protection, but those who don't usually want to cause harm. Lia explained.
"That makes sense that the world is bigger than I thought, and a secret world hidden in plain sight doesn't surprise me either. I'm more amazed that beings we see as fiction on Netflix are actually true. Isaiah said.
"Yea, humans, really don't imagine new things like they think they just catch a glimpse of something within the Infinity Void," Lia replied.
"So what do I wear to the gymnasium? Like basketball clothes?" Isaiah asked as they got up from the table.
"Basketball clothes? Do you have some?" Lia asked.
Isaiah made a face. " Now we both know that I do."
Lia laughed. " But do you actually go play, or you just have them due to the culture?"
"I plead the fifth," Isaiah replied.
Lia laughed even harder 😂😂😂.
"Anyways," Lia says, catching her breath.
"There should be some Physical training uniforms in your Closet too."
"Really bet." Isaiah
"You have 30 mins to get your mind right before this fight. Try not to go overboard like you did this morning. They're just trying to see how powerful you are and how you use your abilities." Lia said
"I'll try to keep that in mind," Isaiah said as they parted ways into their tiny homes.
