Prologue

Evelyn was in a room, and there were people in the room working on her face.

Today was her wedding day, but she didn't feel an ounce of happiness. Why? Because she was marrying a man she did not want to.

After her make-up was done, the maids came in and got her in a luxurious wedding dress. After she was all dolled up, the maids took her to the long length mirror.

Tears formed in her eyes as she saw herself in the mirror. She looked absolutely gorgeous.

'This isn't right. It shouldn't be like this. I shouldn't be marrying someone else, but what can I do? If I don't do as my parents tell me to do, then they will kill you in front of me. I wish… that I could run away with you, but we can't run… My parents will find us even at the edge of the world. You will hate me for this, I know, but as long as I can protect you, then this is enough for me.' she thought.

"Miss, if you cry, the make-up will be ruined." A maid told her worriedly.

"A ruined make-up for a ruined bride. It fits me perfectly well, doesn't it?" Evelyn asked her.

The maid looked down, unable to say anything.

She wanted to cry her heart out but her mother came in and she had to hide her tears.

Her parents were very strict with her. If they saw her crying for another man, then they would definitely beat up her lover.

She had really powerful and rich parents, and no one dared to go against them. Her father was a ruthless billionaire and her mother was the daughter of a mafia boss.

Even though Evelyn lived a luscious life, she was still very pitiful because she couldn't do whatever she wanted. She had to be very lady-like and had to learn how to manage her house and how she should always listen to her husband. She was told not to have ridiculous dreams and hopes and to only live her life for her family and husband.

She hated this type of life. She wanted to be free to do whatever she wanted and marry whoever she wanted, but with parents like hers, it was not possible. That was, until she met Noah, whose thought were exactly like hers.

He had brilliant ideas that could change the entire world and she could listen to him talk about his amazing ideas for hours and wouldn't get enough of it.

They slowly fell in love with each other, but sadly, her parents discovered their secret relationship and tore them apart. One of the reasons was because he was poor and would bring the family name to shame.

They were both punished harshly and now she was getting married to a man who she didn't want.

Mason Green was the man her parents chose to be her husband, and he was a horrible person. He had illegal dealings in the underworld, and everyone knew that he would sleep with a lot of women. He even raped a lot of women, but to her parents, none of that mattered because he was loaded with wealth.

And what made matters worse was that he had his eyes on Evelyn because she was the most beautiful woman in town. Her milky smooth skin and perfect S-line made every man want her, and Mason wanted her to be his prized treasure.

"Good, good. You look absolutely jaw dropping. Mason would not be able to resist you at all." Her mother told her, approving her make-up and dress.

She then gave her maid an incense.

"Go put this in the bride and groom's wedding room." Her mother instructed the maid.

The maid took the incense and went away.

"What is that, mother?" Evelyn asked.

"It's some that will wake up the beast inside of him and will make him want to have sex with you badly." she told her

Evelyn looked at her mother, horrified.

"Oh, don't look at me like that. I'm just doing what's best for you." Her mother told her.

'You're selling your own daughter off. How is this for my best?' Evelyn thought, looking at her mother with a broken heart, but she dared not question her.

"And you were having such a horrifying relationship with that monstrous man. I told you this before and I will tell you this again that he only was interested in you for two things. One was our wealth and two was to get between your legs. Good god, we found out before he did something to you that would've dirtied you and stained our family reputation." Her mother told her.

Evelyn knew that all the things that her mother said were completely untrue.

Noah was a loyal man who was honest, kind, and hardworking. He never touched her without her consent or would ever look at her with disgusting eyes. He was everything that Mason wasn't, and even more.

But she quietly agreed with her mother against her will.

"Where is father?" she asked her.

"He was busy with work and couldn't make it." Her mother told her.

"I see." she said.

She didn't feel a thing knowing that her father was going to be absent from her wedding because her father was a devil as well. He would beat her badly as well and would pay no attention to her. To him, she was just a useless piece of meat. He wanted to have a son so that her father could have an heir to pass down his business, but he got a daughter instead and because of complications, her mother couldn't bear more children.

She didn't have any feelings for her father and was disappointed in both of them. She wished that she were an orphan instead.

A maid came in and told her that the wedding was about to start and they should get ready.

Her mother nodded and dismissed the maid. She looked at her daughter's dress one more time and decided that she wasn't attractive enough.

Her mother lowered her shoulderless dress and revealed her cleavage and the top of her breast.

"Good. Now you look seductive." Her mother nodded her head in approval, then she pushed her out the door.

Her mother walked in before her to take her seat.

The wedding music started playing, and the doors opened up for her. She had no one to walk her, so she walked down the aisle herself. She looked up and saw that Mason was eyeing her hungrily.

Feeling disgusted, she looked away.

Mason was really handsome, but his personality was absolutely disgusting.

She walked up to him and stood beside him without even glancing at him even once. She could see him looking at her breast hungrily from the corner of her eyes.

"You want me to take you that badly, huh?" he asked her in a whisper in a very perverted tone.

Evelyn wanted to stick her fingers in her throat and barf at his words.

Everyone looked at the person who disagreed with the wedding.

"She is my woman and only I can ruin her." Noah said with hate.

Tears formed in her eyes as she saw nothing but hatred in his eyes for her.

Evelyn's mother got up angrily.

"How dare you try to ruin my daughter's wedding!" her mother said furiously.

"I'm not here for you, bitch. Shut you fucking whore hole." Noah told her.

"You want my bride?" Manson asked him with an evil smile. "No fucking way. She is mine."

Mason grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards him. He jerked her wedding dress down and revealed her beautiful plump boobs, and groped at them in front of her lover and the crowd.

Evelyn never felt humiliation in her entire life. She tried to get away from him but he wouldn't let her escape.

"This beautiful virgin is mine." Mason told her in an evil tone.

Noah started laughing like a manic and looked at Evelyn.

"But her virginity was already taken away by mine, isn't that right Eve?" he asked her.

She couldn't believe it. How could he announce it just like that? Was this really the kind of man she knew?

Mason was furious about him claiming her. He turned her around and slapped her so hard that she fell on the ground and the air got knocked out of her.

Tears fell down her cheeks at the humiliation she felt. She took this chance to cover her body by pulling up her dress.

"And you betrayed me for this man?" Noah asked her in a tone full of hate. "You deserve it."

Noah took out a gun from behind his back, making everyone sacred.

"Evelyn. Once we meet again in our next life, I swear to our gods that you are going to be mine. Everything about you will be in my possession. But you will not succeed in getting my heart anymore. I will make sure that you live a miserable and helpless life in our next reincarnation as revenge for betraying my love and trust. You will suffer at my hands, Evelyn. I promise you that." he told her.

He raised his gun to his head and pulled the trigger.

BANG!

The entire room fell silent as Noah's lifeless body fell down.

Evelyn let out a blood-curdling scream and ran to him. She kneeled in front of him and grabbed his lifeless body. She hugged him tightly against her body. Her beautiful white dress was getting stained with his blood as she cried miserably.

"I did this just to protect you! How could you kill yourself in front of me?" she cried in a way that would break anyone's heart. "How am I supposed to live without you now?"

Mason got furious at the scene. He walked up to her and grabbed her by the hair.

"You will live by serving me from now on, you whore." he told her and dragged her with him.

She grabbed the gun from Noah's hand and shot Mason in his neck. There were people screaming and running everywhere. He grabbed his neck to prevent himself from dying, but it was no use. There was nothing he could do that would save him from death.

Evelyn got up and looked at him with hatred in her eyes.

"I curse you Mason. You will live a miserable life when you are reincarnated. Whatever you do will never be good enough for anyone. You will always suffer and fail in life and will never succeed in anything." She cursed him and turned around and left him to die.

She kneeled in front of Noah with tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.

"I promise you, my love. In the next life… you may torture me for as long as you want until your anger is appeased. I will fall in love with you in the next life as well and will become yours. I am willing to suffer at your hands and you will always be the person I love and no one else will have my heart."

She raised the gun to her head and while looking at him; she pulled the trigger and committed suicide. Her lifeless body fell on top of him.

It starting heavily, like the gods were mourning their death and tragedy, with loud thunders crashing down.

"How could this happen?" the God of love asked, horrified at seeing the two humans he adored die so tragically.

"Well, the bet is over and now I won." the God of deceit told him.

Suddenly there was thunder crashing down on the God of deceit.

"How dare you cheat and make the humans I gave life to suffer!" The God of life appeared.

She was beyond furious.

"Cheat?" the God of love looked at the God of deceit furiously as well.

The God of deceit felt terrified because he knew that God of life won't let him go unpunished.

"How dare you play with their destiny!" the God of life said furiously. "As punishment, you shall live in the human world for a 1000 years!"

With a snap of a finger, the God of deceit was banished to the human world.

The God of love looked at the God of life sadly.

"They didn't deserve this. That man was supposed to get successful and marry that woman and have a happy ending." God of love told her.

"This is why we don't bet on human lives, Love. You should've known better." The God of life told him in a disappointed tone.

"My apologies, Life." he told her.

"They will get another chance at life." The God of life told him. "And this time no God will interfere with their lives. Their destiny will be in their own hands."

The God of Love nodded.

The God of life twirled her hands and the three souls appeared before her and she looked at them worriedly.

"This will not be easy." She told him.

"Their lives are intertwined because of the curse they put on one another." The God of love said, also seeing the souls with a troubled look.

"But I trust these two and they will overcome the challenges that come their way. Not sure about the other one. His soul is wicked." She told him.

"Let's add a special case for them both." the God of love told her and whispered to her the idea.

The God of life agreed to his one term and sent the souls to find their new homes.
