Chapter 49: Cravings

Clara’s POV

I woke up late in the morning and instantly looked for food. I rose from the bed and headed straight to the bathroom to shower. After taking a shower, I changed into a casual sleeveless dress and wore some flats. Erik forbade me to use some heels even if the height was only one inch. I made sure I looked okay before leaving the room.

I saw Farkas outside the room, and I smiled at him. “Your highness,” He greeted and bowed. I walked towards the kitchen while Farkas followed from behind. “Did you eat?” I asked him softly, and he nodded.

He is a serious warrior, just like Ian. He’s a man with a few words. I focused on walking until I reached the kitchen. I smiled widely, seeing Erik cooking something in the kitchen. The smell of the food made my stomach grumble.

“What are you cooking?” I asked him when I got near, and he smiled widely, showing all his white teeth.

“Good morning, beautiful,” He said and kissed me on the forehead over the kitchen counter.
